I have been diagnosed with epilepsy/complex partial seizures since 1981. I've been taking Depakote (1000 mg) for at least 15 years. It has caused weight gain always, my neuro added Zonegran to my cocktail to counteract this but now I'm starting to experience tremors and cognitive thinking is slowing down. My neuro told me today that most likely this is due to Depakote. I am hesitant to come off it because it covers my seizures so well and offers a mood stabilizer for my PTSD. Has anyone experienced these side effects - my neuro expects they will get worse as I get older - and I'm curious what others have moved to as an alternative. I've tried so many meds, it's always the side effects that kill me. ## Unfortunately, these issues have been known to occur with all of t...

what meds can you not take with chlortabs ## Chlortabls contains Chlorpheniramine, it is most commonly used to treat allergies. There is actually a very large list of medications it can react with, so I can't list them all. Some examples are: Darvocet, Cena-K, Sodium Oxybate, Wygesic and Zonegran. If you can post back with the other medications you are taking, I can provide you with a more accurate answer. What else are you taking?

WHAT IS NORMAL DOSAGE A MONTH TO GET OFF DILAUDID IF TAKING 12MG EVERY THREE HOURS FOR LAST SIX MONTHS IF I DONT TAKE FOR 5 HOURS I AM IN PAIN AND SICK VERY SCARY ## Dilaudid contains the active ingredient Hydromorphone, it is a narcotic pain reliever and may cause side effects such as: nausea, drowsiness, dizziness and constipation. As to a time period, there is really no set rule for this, it can vary from person to person. Some doctors do not wean a person off, some do. What has your doctor suggested? Whenever someone stops taking narcotics, it should be done in a very slow taper, to prevent the worst of the withdrawal effects and rebound pain symptoms. ## is it usual to stop dilaudid 5 times a day after several years and start endocet every 6 hours with zonegran at night.
