Zolpidem 10mg Tab Nor

I have taken Zolpidem for about 10 years (10mg most nights). I live in Thailand, and I can get them from a pharmacy...although the quality seems to change. The latest ones are called Zopalet and have MP on one side of the white oval tablet (normal white 10mg shape like Sanofi style but these seem to be roughly-made and chalky, not smooth and shiny or well-made by the press machine). Does anyone know what these are? What they contain? They seem a bit different in action. Weaker and not pure either. I have a fat liver already so I want to avoid problems. Round pill. 10 in on side and letters Z P L on the other. Suppose to be generic for Ambien by Geneva generics. There's so many diffrent generic pharmacies now. What is the active ingredient of this tablet? How many of zolfresh 10mg are considered a normal dose? ## Hi Navi, I'd sure like to hope that you're not "that person" overdosing on Zolfresh. Based on my research, 10 mgs daily of the immediate release formula is the maximum recommended dose of Zolfresh (Zolpidem). There's really no good reason for a person to take anything over that; especially 50x that!! According to a drug monograph on wikipedia, an overdose of Zolpidem may lead to too much sedation as well as impaired respiratory function. Either of these could potentially develop into a coma, & in some cases death. Filled my Rx from a pharmacy in India. No serial number on tablet. White long oval shaped in silver packaging. Does not seem to work. ## Zoltrate-10 should technically contain 10 mg of Zolpidem, so this is a foreign version of Ambien. I don't think that meds from India have to carry inscriptions like how drugs in the US do, but there is a huge manufacturing sector for generic drugs out there. If it's not working then is could be fake. I got script filled today for roxicodone 5mg and it has number 74 on one side and the letters teva on other. ## TEVA 74 does not contain Oxycodone, nor any type of narcotic pain reliever. This tablet contains 10mgs of Zolpidem, the active ingredient in Ambien, which is used for the short-term treatment of insomnia. I have had depression since 2nd week of December last year. First of all the general practitioner put me on following combination i.e. fluoxetine, tripiline (spelling?) and sleeping tablet (Zolpidem). 3 months ago I went to a Psychiatrist due to bad insomnia. He put me on Mirteron, starting with 15mg, month later increased it to 30mg, and last month to 45mg – these I take at night 21h00pm. At 22h00pm I take a Zolpidem sleeping table (10mg). My sleep is average 4-5 hours (22h00pm – 03h00am). My depression has shown an increase but not desired effect. Therefore the psychiatrist prescribed Venlor 75mg. After taking my 1st tablet yesterday morning (08h00am), I felt so drugged, and I have no emotions whatsoever. Is this normal? I just want to make sure before I phone my psychiatrist

I started on 5mgs of Brintellix in February. All my anxiety was gone after the first few days but my depression remained bad. I gradually brought my dose up to 20mg 6 weeks ago and yesterday my depression was almost gone. I also have roller-coaster downs on this tab. Hopefully it's kicked in. The only thing is I can't sleep. I take Zolpidem 10mg at 12am and Urbanol 10mg when I wake up at 3:30am. My sleep is restless as I look after my mom and dad in their 80's. My mom has silent stroke dementia, so my day is very stressful. I'm in a bad mood which is not normal for me but think it's stress from caring for my folks.
