I am 72 . What is the side effect ? Does it creat constibution problem ? Can one become adict to it ? ## I'm taking Nexito forte half in the afternoon for BP and a half tab of losar beta for the last 14 years now, as due to diabetes I developed nerve problems and could not sleep. I'm 66 and I think even if it becomes a habit to get good sleep at night which is a must, at night I take zapiz .25. Even if side effects are there we will have to bear it as who the hell wants to live up to 90 yrs old, so live fully dear.

Does Zapiz 0.5 mg tablets (2 per day) useful in treating spasms wile moving your bowels. Does it induce acute sleepiness. If so, how to overcome that. ## Zapiz contains the active ingredient Clonazepam, which is a Benzodiazepine that is most commonly used to treat anxiety and nervous disorders. And no, I am not aware of its being used to treat such issues, nor can I find any information that says it is effective at doing so. Did your doctor instruct you to use it? Zapiz (Chlonozepam) is anti-epileptic, anti-seizure medication. It is also used for anti-anxiety. Drowsiness is a side effect so you might fall asleep. But to use it as a sleeping pill is a BIG MISTAKE. In elderly patients it can cause psychomotor retardation. ## Elderly people are also more prone to experiencing other side effects, according to the FDA, which may include nausea, dizziness, and headache.
