yellow round pill with no imprint - oxycodone?
1 Reply RSS
I have a round, yellow pill that has NO imprints on it other than the score to break in half. It's a brighter yellow color. I need help identifying this so I can be safe! ## If there are no imprints, then it is not a legal U.S. prescription tablet. The FDA requires them all to have unique imprints to enable their identification, in case of emergency. Thus, if there are no markings on the tablet, it is most likely some type of over the counter product. Although, there is also a chance that it could be a foreign pill. Where did you obtain this tablet? ...

r333 pill is it oxycodone
3 Replies RSS
They are most definitely a Percocet 10/325 ## No.. But there is a percocet that is A333 made by Actavis. ## @Phillies, The only pill I'm finding online that is marked "R333", happens to be a 40mg Pantoprazole sodium delayed release tablet, used to treat symptoms of GERD and esophagitis. You never mentioned the color or shape of the tablet either, which in this case is a round yellow pill. But if you say that it's Percocet, it sounds to me like the imprint was simply misinterpreted. Because as Darwinski stated, "A333" is a 10/325mg Percocet made by Actavis; and is a white capsule-shaped pill by description. So there you have it. This could be either one of the pills mentioned above, depending on what you would describe the pill to look like? I hope this helps! ## ... ...

I need to know how much acetomenaphine sp?) is in this capsule (or other similiar OTC). ## Oxycodone tablets do not contain Acetaminophen. I think you are referring to Percocet, which contains both. Is there any sort of imprint on your capsule? U.S. law requires that all prescription drugs have unique letters or numbers (sometimes in addition to a logo) imprinted on the tablets or capsules so the medication can be identified by manufacturer, substance and dosage. For information on Percocet, you can click on the link below: For information on Oxycodone, follow this link: Please post back if you have any other questions or comments to add. ## This capsule is Oxycodone hcl 5 mg; color is either yellow & white capsule (could be orange & white) with imprint "lv" on yellow/or... ...

I think i took a white oblong capsule i was told it was outdone instant relief 5mg. I can't remember the exact numbers on them. I know it started with a 0 and had the number 4 in it. I have taken oxycodone before but never seen it in a capsuse before can u please tell me if it was actually oxycodone ## There's definitely not a medication by the name of "outdone", at least here in the U.S. It sounds like they could've also said Oxycontin, which is an extended release version of Oxycodone. But just to confirm, there are in fact Oxycodone (immediate release) capsules. I've seen a 5mg capsule from Mallinckrodt Pharmaceuticals. This one happens to be brown/yellow in color and imprinted with "0554 M 5 mg". You mentioned that the pill started with a "0" ... ...

A 51 30mg oxycodone (Amneal) - turns yellow/green when wet
13 Replies RSS
I have some A 51 30 mg oxycodones and noticed that they turn a yellow/green when damp. I know one of the inactive ingredients is D&C yellow #10 so that may be the cause, but I wanted to check to see if anyone else has noticed the same thing and make sure that it is normal. Thanks for any help in advance. ## I spilled a little water on 1 of my A 51's and it changed color too. Is there a reason this happens? ## Hello, Mike and Jen! How are you both? Moisture can affect the shade, color and tone of virtually anything, including pills. Depending on the specific type of water, you may see different colors at different times, due to small chemical reactions. For instance, you may see a different color from tap water, than from purified water, since there are chemicals in the tap water... ...

I am currently taking Cymbalta and Oxycodone. In the mornings on several occasions when I urinate it is very dark brown. Could either of theses medicines cause this? I'm thinking of calling my Dr anyways but just needed to know if anyone else has experienced this from either of these medicines? ## Hi derrek, it sounds like you may be experiencing a more serious side effect of the Cymbalta. My last 2 months of taking Alvogen 10/325 are turning faint yellow and look like they have been in water as the shape and medicine doesn't seem to be that effective. Can you tell me why the pill is changing its color and not effective as of 3 months ago? I may have been taking the Watson brand or some other brand. ## Hi Judy, Are you meaning to say that the new prescription is yellow when you get them filled or that the pills gradually turn yellow [perhaps through oxidation or other unknown causes] while you have them in your possession? If the latter, I think that is really strange and this is probably the first time I've heard of something like that happening to any pharmaceutical. Watson 853 White or Yellow Pill
42 Replies RSS
I've been taking the Watson 853 yellow hydro /acetaminophen for several years. I get them from a well known pharmacy company. My most recent script was filled and I noticed the color was white, even though the markings of Watson 853 are identical to the light yellow pill. There was a huge difference in side effects with the new pill; constipation, dry mouth, and a little nasal congestion that I typically get from preservatives like sulfites. Many people get these symptoms when taking narcotics, but I have been fortunate with the hydrocodone as it has never affected me that way (oxycodone does however) I called the pharmacist and he said he couldn't get the yellow tabs anymore but wouldn't say one way or the other whether the formulation or fillers in the white pill differ fr... ...

Pill color and can I break it

Hi, first time I was prescribed a round pill identified as v4839 Percocet 5mg. Now I have v4829 .. Saying its 325.10mg. I need to know if I can break it in half. 10 mg is to strong. Also my pills are white and the picture coming up on the website is yellow.. I always double check my scripts to make sure it's correct . Do you know why the internet shows yellow and why mine is white? ## These tablets are a light yellow. That probably explains why it appears to be white to you. Sometimes going outside and looking at it in the sunllight can help you see the light yellow. 4829 v is 10 mg oxycodone and 325 mg Acetaminophen. This is generic for Percocet 10/325. It is manufactured by Qualitest Pharmaceuticals. You can cut it in half because it is immediate release. ...

The 10 mg pills remain white, but the 15 and 30 mg pills include black iron oxide, yellow iron oxide and red iron oxide, the 20 mg pills include red iron oxide, the 40 mg pills include yellow iron oxide, the 60 mg pills include red iron oxide and black iron oxide, and the 80 mg pills include yellow iron oxide and FD&C Blue #2 indigo carmine aluminum lake. light yellow round pill 230 on one side called Percocet
3 Replies RSS
what's the difference in the different shapes and colors and printed numbers on Percocets? ## Hi Sharon, A round yellow pill marked with "C 230" is reported to be a generic version of Percocet containing 10mgs of Oxycodone hydrochloride + 325mgs of Acetaminophen, used for moderate to severe pain. And this particular pill is manufactured by a company called Alvogen. I suppose in certain lighting it could appear peach colored, but you can view a photo of the pill on the manufacturer's page (linked below): As you can see, it was identified as Oxycodone 5mg + ibuprofen 400mg, and is manufactured by Actavis.
