what is the effect of taking m2 tone for a month and then yasmine. Will this solve the problem of low menstral flows. ## can m2-tone and yamine be use at the same time to correct irregular menstruation and horminal imbalance? ## You should take whatever medications your doctor has instructed you to take. The NIH lists the typical side effects as possibly including nausea, dizziness, headache, spotting, and PMS-like symptoms. However, how much you bleed during menstruation doesn't actually mean anything, it may vary every month. We are all different. Are you on any other medications? ...

I want to know more about it ## I LOVE Yasmin. I have been taking it for a long time. I have tried other BCP, but none work as well for me as this one. My gyno has me taking them continuously and I stop every 3 months and have a cycle, so I have a period 4 times a year which is WONDERFUL. I bloat a little bit, just when I stop to have it and also cramp, but its only 4 times a year! Hope this helps! ## Why do I have spotting after taking Yasmin pills? I'm not finished with my one pack of Yasmin yet and I'm so worried... I have 3 tablets of Yasmin left. I'm not pregnant so please give me advice. ...

I'm currently on purbac antibiotic for my acne and it's been a month now but is it safe for me to use the contraceptive pill while I'm on the antibiotics ## Hello, Sanny! How are you? It isn't dangerous to take them both, but Purbac can reduce the efficacy of oral contraceptives, so you'll need to use another form of contraceptive, as long as your being treated with the Purbac. The FDA lists the typical side effects of this antibiotic as possibly including nausea, dizziness, headache, non-allergic skin rash and diarrhea. Yasmin may cause side effects, such as nausea, headache, breakthrough bleeding and PMS-like symptoms. Is there anything else I can help with? ...

Medical Outcomes from Using Yasmin or Yaz
1 Reply RSS Share
I believe my wife using Yasmin is what caused her blood clot and eventually her death. Bayer use to imply Yasmin and Yaz were safer then all the other contraceptives. Now Bayer is saying Yasmin and Yaz are just as safe and the number of Adverse Events is no more or less then other contraceptives. I am so sorry for those who have lost a love one or suffered through the pain some of the Adverse Events might have caused them. I don’t think I have the right or the knowledge to stop anyone from taking any drug that’s been approved by the FDA but I think doctors should take more responsibility about informing their patients of the benefits and risks and what other options they might have to taking this one drug. They also need to inform them of what they ... ...

Yasmin interactions with Paracetamol and Metamizole
1 Reply RSS Share
I got my tonsils out last tuesday (I live in Spain) and the doctor prescribed Paracetamol 1gm and Nolotil (Metamizole) 575mg to be taken ever 8 hours on alternating 8 hours. I have been taking Yasmin for a few years now with no problems. But, starting 2 days ago I noticed some spotting, today I put in a tampon to make sure of where the blood was coming from and it seems to be now a little more than spotting. I am wondering if this is an interacting with any of the medicine listed above or a combination of them, or if it is something I need to be worried about. Thank you. ## Hello, Ali! How are you? Spotting can occur with oral contraceptives, especially when you've undergone such stress and trauma, like your recent surgery. However, it would be best to consult your doctor to be cert... ...
