Its always good to know a few people who take the same medication you do so if you run out or some other emergency situation happens they can possibly help you with a few till you can get your meds. They are on Stephenson and very compassionate and actually ask you what you have been on and what has worked for you. They always want you to call if you feel you may need an in...

Fam dr wont give my xanax by sandman I live close to alanta ga. ## Well it is not really your Xanax? So much has changed and out there and many areas in the South you have to jump through hoops. My Family doctor gives them out like Pez, with a free collectors dispenser! ## Family doctor's are not supposed to be giving them out, anymore. There are some exceptions they can make, but in most cases, you will now need to see a specialist for such medications, if you require them on a long-term ongoing basis. The best thing to do would be to ask your doctor to refer you to someone else. This medication carries the risk of being habit forming and could cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, headache and irritability. Is there anything else I can help with? ## Verwon, stop being pat...

I'm asking any of you out there,my psychiatrist is moving out of Georgia,I've seen him 3 years and he changed life.i have been ADHD since a kid,and did not stay on proper meds, now I take 50mg vyvanse,50mg,Zoloft,and 1 mg xanax 3 times a day as needed.if anyone out there knows a good psychiatrist who takes Medicare,Medicaid please let me know.thanks James ## Hello, James! How are you? Did you try asking him if he has a colleague he can refer you to? That's usually the no hassle way of getting in good with a new doctor. What general area are you in? That would make it easier for someone to recommend a doctor for you.

I severe anxiety disorder and have been on generic xanax for about 14 years (same dosage). I do not know of any physicians in this area and do not have insurance. Can anyone suggest a reputable physician that will treat not only the anxiety disorder but would also serve as my general physician? ## Hi Timothy, I'm sorry to hear about your situation. Unfortunately I'm not from that area so I don't know of any doctors I can recommend. However, there is a site called health grades.com that you might want to give a shot, it should help you to find specialists in your area (psychiatrists, physicians etc..). Also, I've had quite a long history of dealing with anxiety myself and I've found that the supplement holy basil works wonderfully! It's my go to supplement when I...

I need a pain doctor or pain clinic who doesn't require a referral, takes Medicare and Medicaid, who will prescribe my Xanax 2mg, Dilaudid 8mg, Roxy 30, Soma 350mg. I have my paperwork from the hospital state to take these meds. I need someone in Atlanta Ga, or Roswell Ga, Lwrncvil Ga. ## Hello, Cindy! How are you? I'm sorry that you're in pain. As to your medications, it is doubtful that you will find one doctor that will prescribe them all. Due to the new regulations that were put in place last year, you need to see a specialist, so for that list, you'll most likely need to see a pain management specialist, as well as a psychiatrist for the Xanax. These medications carry the risk of being habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, headache, dr...

When I first joined here and read the BS about all the new rules and regulations I thought it wasn't true, its true! ## Georgia is much more controlled than most states The doctors are so scared of losing their license seriously that doctors I’ve been with for 15 years or so for pain and sleeplessness and anxiety and narcolepsy they had taking me off of the drugs I’ve been taking for years without titration that can cause heart attacks strokes Not only is it dangerous but it’s 100% against their Hippocratic oath it really is a mess the gove...

Any help would be very much appreciated!! ## I am currently looking for a doctor that prescribes and acts in Marietta Georgia or Richmond Kentucky....with this said the reason I'm asking is because I have panic attacks, I can't be in large crowds of people, sleep disorders, unmanageable amount of stress, depression, anxiety and not to mention, shaking all of the time!!!! ## Due to the new regulations that were put in place last year, both of you will need to see a specialist, if you require such a medication on a long-term ongoing basis. I live in Savannah, Chatham County, Georgia. Diagnosed suffering from Degenerative Disc Disease, with Cervical Radiculopathy (one bulging disc) and Lumbar Radiculopathy (two bulging discs). These spinal problems are diagnosed by three (3) recent CAT Scans, with radiologist analyses. And yes, I have ALL of the CAT Scan CDs, and radiologist reports. I went to Frank Howard Bynes, M.D., a retired trauma surgeon, and practicing internal medicine M.D., here in Savannah, Ga, for help with severe pain control. I was written valid prescriptions for: Roxicodone 30 mg; Dilaudid 8 mg; Xanax 2 mg; Fentanyl 100mcg/hr transdermal patch; Soma 350 mg; Neurontin 800 mg. ALL, YES ALL local pharmacies, will NOT honor ANY of these prescriptions. I was a previous patient of David M. Nelson, M.D. here in Sava...
