Is there such thing as hydrocodone-acetaminophen 40/325mg ## Hello, Briggs! How are you? No, the maximum dosage that is standardly available contains 10mgs of Hydrocodone with 325mgs of Acetaminophen. The FDA classifies this medication as a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation. The only way someone could have a higher dosage would be if their doctor specially ordered it and it was done by a compounding pharmacy. Is there anything else I can help with?

Husband fell thru roof 5 yrs ago,,crushed pelvis,,elbows held together by metal,,severe nerve pain in hips and Buttocks. Been on Methadone Clinic on and off for 16 years now due to (IV Use).. Now moved 1300 miles away and know no one.He is in his early 60's and finally Clean but Clinic is far away and very costly. Any suggestions would be much appreciated, Thanks ## I'm sorry, but a clinic is his only option. I wish I had better news for you, but that is the way the law currently stands. This is a ...

How long does it take for OxyContin 40mg CR taken twice daily to get in my system and provide full effect? I was prescribed these and am on my 3rd day taking them with 2 loratab 10mg for breakthrough and have received a different effect each time taking the OxyContin-Also, is the 40mg OxyContin a standard dose for someone that has been taking 3 10mg loratab for break through pain with 3 15mg morophine ER daily for continued relief? ## Yes, that is a fairly standard dose, but while it should have some immediate effect, it may take 4 to 5 weeks for it to reach its full level of efficacy in you body. The FDA warns that it carries the risk of being habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, headache, dry mouth, and constipation. Has there been any improvement, yet?

I have been using telma H 40/120 for almost two months. My pulse goes high, I get dry mouth, I feel weakness and breathlessness,. Could all that be side effect of Telma h that I am taking? ## Hi, Sadiq! Sorry about the problems you're having. What have your blood pressure levels been, since you've been taking it? And another question is, how much fluid are you drinking each day? The H in this stands for Hydrochlorothiazide and it's a diuretic that's used to remove excess fluid from the body. However, if it's removing too much, because you aren't taking in enough, it can lead to dehydration and that may be what's causing your symptoms. When on a medication like this, you should be taking in at least 64ounces of fluid daily, not including anything alcoholic or ...

i want the name of this pill i have its small circle and a little bit thick iys a peacy tan color and one side says 40 the other side says op ## 40mg oxycontin. The P stands for the pharmaceutical company who makes it. But its oxycontin. If you'd never taken it before, I wouldnt if I were u. Unless prescribed by a dr. they are addicting. And I'm not saying it lightly. You get dependent on em very fast. Sorry. Im.sure you weren't looking for my opinion of the pill, but rather just the answer to your question. Its a 40mg oxycontin ## That is correct, this is a 40mg Oxycontin tablet, even though the manufacturer describes the color as yellow, it is much more a peach/tan color. It is a very potent narcotic analgesic that may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, constip...

Can you please tell me if Gabapentin usp 400 mg comes in an unmarked white and purple capsule ## Not in the U.S. All manufactured prescription medications in the U.S. are required to have imprints to enable their identification. The only time a prescription medication would be in an unmarked capsule would be if it were something specially ordered by a doctor and done by a compounding pharmacy and it would make no sense in this case, since this medication is already available in standard doses. That said, they are most likely some type of over the counter product, since they are not required to have imprints and be logged with FDA. Is there anything else I can help with?

I'm quiting Opana using Suboxone. I've gradually come down from Opana ER 40 mg to 10 mg over a period of 6 months, and am switching today to Suboxone film. Dr told me to wait 24 to 36 hrs before starting Subs (wait till I can't stand the withdrawals any longer). Normally on 10 mg Opana I start to feel withdrawals within 12 hrs, can't get comfortable in my skin, can't sleep, restless leg etc. Problem is I ran out of 10 mg yesterday so the single last Opana I took was an ER 40 mg. It's been 30 hrs and still no noticable withdrawals. I don't want to start the Suboxone until feeling the withdrawals as instructed cause I don't want the Subs to kick in and suddenly block the Opana causing worse withdrawals. How long should I wait? ## There is really no precise ...

what is the es or dr code as in Erythromycin es or Erythromycin dr?? ## i was perscribed erthomycin 400 mg but was does es stand for and is ok to take if trying to get pregnant.. I keep getting lesions under my skin ## For anyone still seeking such information… Erythromycin is an antibiotic that's used to treat or prevent infections. The ES is for extra strength or double strength, the dr is used similarly, it just means it's a higher dose of the antibiotic than the standard. Learn more Erythromycin details here. And from what I can find, it isn't contraindicated when trying to get pregnant, being pregnant, or breastfeeding, but you should always double check with your doctor. Are there any questions or concerns?

im allergic to codeine, and i just want to know if this has codeine in it or if it is considered a narcotic. what happens if i take two of these? ## Hello, Mary! How are you? No, those abbreviations stand for Acetaminophen, Butalbital and Caffeine, so it is not a narcotic. This medication is most commonly used to treat migraines. Its side effects may include nausea, dizziness, insomnia and stomach irritation. And you should only take the amount prescribed by your doctor. Is there anything else I can help with?

My 9 year ols nephew is on 40 mg a day this seems too much! He seems distant and depressed all the time, should I be concerned? ## Hi Kerry, From what I could gather, the usual pediatric dose can range from 5mg up to a maximum of 60mg once daily. The extended release capsules are not recommended for anyone age 6 or under, so I can only speculate that his body (from a biological standpoint) may not even be ready to handle this medication. Safety guidelines for this medication note that if any bothersome adverse reactions appear (e.g., insomnia, anorexia, or depression in this case), the dosage should be reduced. I think it's perfectly ok and natural to be concerned for someone who looks depressed and distant. This would probably be attributed to side effects and/or too high of a dose...

These do not seem to be working as well as the original ones. We were trying to locate the differance between EC and DR. We did discover the DR means delayed release, but found no info on EC. Could you please help us figuring out what the difference is?? Thank You ## Hello, Markayshai! How are you? Both abbreviations really mean they same thing, they just designate it as being a time released formulation. The EC stands for enteric coated, there are many that the pharmaceutical industry uses for this. Is there anything else I can help with? ## Fantastic! sir i hav cough problem since last two months along with spiting of lot of phelgum specially at night i got few breathlessness attack also now doctor take my PFT test and reported some restrictive pattern along with this he send me for an endoscopy test which was reported with LAX LES IMPRESSION @ 40cm. sir i want to know what it is and how it can effect me? please... with due respect.... ## Hello, Rajinder! How are you? LES stands for your lower esophageal sphincter and lax means that it is loose and no longer as tight as it should be, so the coughing may be due to acid reflux. This creates the risk of your developing a hiatal hernia, where part of the stomach pushes up through into the esophagus, or you may already have one starting. The symptoms occurring mostly at night, when you...

I have been on Amlace for hypertension and my doctor changed it to Betadrop (a Beta blocker) which was causing swelling in the ankles and ED and to counteract the swelling in ankles he then prescribed Amifru 40 (1/2 tab x 2 a day). This did not reduce swelling much especially when standing or sitting for long periods. My new doctor has just now put me on OLMAX- H 20 mg 1x1 a day and stopped all previous drugs. OLMAX-H helped in passing much urine freely which was not so with the previous drugs. My new doctor says the swelling is more to do with varicose veins and not so much the previous drug. I still suffer with ED. I am 71 years old, and am perplexed & confused as I read about the adverse affects of these hypertension drugs on the I net. I also have had severe acidity especially i...

I take 40mg of lisinopril a day. My blood pressure spikes at night. Can I take another 20mg? ## Hello, Lisa! How are you? It really depends on when and why you are experiencing a spike, according to NIH prescribing standards. What levels have the spikes reached? Has this been before or after dinner? Before, or after activity? There are many other factors at play, which may cause higher levels than usual. For example, as a HBP patient myself, I can tell you that I learned via my cardiologist that it can be normal to experience spikes when I first wake up in the morning, or after a nap, it is nothing to worry about. You may also experience spikes after activity, such as a brisk walk, working out, or engaging in intercourse. Such instances are also normal. It would be best not to increase ...
