i tested positive for dilauded in a drug screen i take oxycodone 15 mg and duragesic 75 mcg/h and folic acid and methatrexaTE and albuteraul inhailer and over the counter drugs is bear advanced asprine 500 mg advil migraine and excedrine migrane meds how could i test positive for dilaudid in the test i took ## It might be to the Oxycodone, or the Fentanyl in the Duragesic. so she couldnt find the hydros and found a 30 mg oxycodone and did two using iv. than the next day did two hydros 8's using the same method as before. she also had not been using the oxycodone bc she had the hydros and only used the 30's bc that is all she could find. she went and bought a home drug test the kind in the cup that you turn on it's side. and it showed up positive for oxycodone and positive for opiates. it's understandable why the oxy showed up but why would it show positive for opi? all she did that week was suboxene oxycodone and hydromorphine. also she did some reseaarch and it said that dilaudid does show up as an opiaite so this is very confusing. ## Usually a home urine drug test is not going to show dilaudid (hydromorphone). Will they show up the same in a urine test? ## I was looking for answers for the 2 questions regarding if taking a urine test, if Percocet and Dilaudid would show up as the same? ## Usually the type of test administered at a pain clinic can differentiate between the different types of opiates. Percocet contains the active ingredient oxycodone and dillaudid is hydromorphone. Percocet and dillaudid will not show up as the same thing and you could get in hot water with your doc. My wife had a pain shot of dilaudid back in October of last year and the results of her drug test for that month came up as her having hydrocodone and tramadol in her system. Morphine, however, is not synthetic, so that's not one they've been reported to cause a false positive for. I have randoms at my job. I know on a 5 panel drug test codeine and oxycodone will show up as an opiate. I have a prescription for both of these. My question is if they send my urine to a lab, will they be able to determine which kind of specific opiate I am taking? I am on oxycontin 40 mg every 12 hours and 30 mg oxycodone every 4 hours as needed. Recently dilaudid showed up in my urine test and I was thrown out of the pain clinic. They refuse to discuss the lab results with me just told me to leave. I'm 62 years old and not a stupid person. I know I'm drug tested not even sure what dilaudid is. I ran out of the 8s cause they sucked and had some opana 10mg left over from a previous appt so I took some > How will my urine test come up ? oxymorphone, Hydromorphone, opiante, morpine . ? or all the above ? ## It depends on what type of test he does. If it's just a broad, general test, then it would just show the presence of opiates. However, if they do more precise testing, then they can detect the exact ones you took and even the levels of them, to see if you were abusing the medications you're prescribed by taking more or adding in anything you aren't supposed to be taking. If you are taking Percocet and you take a Saliva Drug Test can it show positive for Cocaine usage? ## It shouldn't. Hey, I got randomly drug tested by my pain dr. I am prescribed the Dilaudid 8 mg four times a day as well as an extended release Dilaudid 32 mg every day. Prior to this I was on Oxycodone liquid. However, I decided to try heroin for the first time and also used right before going into the doctors office. I was tested with an under the tongue saliva test strip. No oxycodone showed up in my system last month and I had been injecting it, when I when back a week later after swallowing them it showed up. I took a quarter of a 8 mg sub this morning early. I go to a pain clinic an get 4G dilaudid. Will I pass a test Friday? ## Suboxone typically stays in your system for 4 days, and 2 mgs of subs is actually a fairly high dosage. Don't quote me on this, but I've heard it's relative to 40-50mgs of oxycodone. As for the test, do you know if they do a buprenorphine test? Typically that has to be tested for separately if they're doing a standard 5-9 panel dip test. If its sent to the lab though, there's a good chance it will show up.
