White Square No Markings

I got a new prescription today. It is white square, looks like an 8 over 40 on one side. Other side has no markings. Is this a Pravastatin 40 mg tablet? ## Yes, that marking is actually B 40, this tablet is manufactured by Bicon Pharma, and they list it as containing 40mgs of Pravastatin. I found these pills they are small whte pills. On one side there are three squares, and on the other side there is a p-o. meaning a P on the top and a score across and an O on the bottom part. Same imprint on both sides it seems. Small round, possibly white pill. It could possibly be a N on one side and a W on the other, both in a square. ## Can you please double check the imprint? Mallinckrodt Pharmaceuticals uses the logo of an M in a box, but they usually use numbers on the other side. Can you double check the markings? I am wondering if there might be small numbers on the other side. Are you on any other medications?

Why does my friend's pill bottle say 10 mg oxycontin, but when she looks up the markings M squared one side and 05/52 on the other side, it comes up on pill registries that it's 5 mg oxycodone? We are so confused. It's small white and round. ## The markings are the most accurate thing. The tablet with M 0552 on it is manufactured by Mallinckrodt Pharmaceuticals and they list it as containing 5mgs of Oxycodone in a regular release formulation. The FDA warns that it carries the risk of being habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, headache, dry mouth, and constipation. Has she checked with her pharmacy? There may have been an error.

Its a big white pill with an m with a square around it with like a break line on the other side. My uncle passed and his wife was sending meds from indonesia! It is a small round pill that is yellow with a letter v on one side and the numbers 2632 on the other side. ## Does the pill with the M 3 also have a square around the M? Is the 5mg of Lisinopril Tab pink oval the same medication is the 5mg of Lisinopril Tab in white square??? I Purchase the white square one from CVS My husband gets the oval pink one free from Purblx?????? ## What are the markings on them, that's what would enable me to double check them for you. But in general, they most likely are exactly what the pharmacy has said they are and they are just manufactured by different companies. Publix may have a special deal on the one from that company they are providing and the same may be true of CVS. It depends on who they use as a supplier and how good they are at negotiating prices.
