White pill with a Y on one side and 21 on the other side

It's white and looks like a xanax bar but I've never seen one with a Y on one side and 21 on other side. Does anyone know what they are? ## Editor's note: This has also been identified as Alprazolam 2 mg from Aurobindo, NDC 65862-679 -- Original reply below -- Do you happen to know where the pill originated from (e.g. outside of the United States)? There are rumors of this being a new 2 mg Alprazolam tablet (who's pill information hasn't been listed online yet). However, my search only yields data on a white round pill with this Y 21 imprint that's reportedly identified as Ethinyl Estradiol (20 mcg) / Norethindrone Acetate (1 mg); a hormonal contraceptive. White pill imprinted with RF 21

I found white pills with RF 21 written on them in my partner's bag and got worried about the use of them. Can anyone help me identify these? ## Hi Jozzie, Could you be talking about a white round pill with RF 27 inscribed instead of RF 21? If so, the pill is Chloroquine Phosphate 250 mg (NDC 63304-460). I also located a white round pill imprinted with FR 21 (as opposed to RF 21) that's reportedly identified as Aspirin 325mg (NDC 0498-0113). Is there any chance that you accidentally misinterpreted the marking? ## I found white pills imprinted with "rf21" at the clinic and I'd like to know if maybe arv's have changed? Found a white oval pill with imprint 2172 in my son's sock drawer and need to know what it is. ## Hi Lisa, From what I could gather, a white oval pill marked with 2172 is identified as a generic Hydrocodone Bitartrate 5mg + Acetaminophen 325mg tablet. Apparently it's a fairly new manufactured version made by Actavis and that may be why there aren't many references to it here/online yet. For verification, the national drug code is reportedly 0591-2172. I hope this helps! ## Thank you so much for the information David this was very helpful ## This is true. New generic for Norco 3/325. Round White Pill 210

I found a small, white round pill with the numbers 210. There are no other markings on it what so ever. I have see others with 210 and other markings, but this has nothing on it at all other than 210 Can anyone help me to identify it?? ## I'm sorry, but I can't find a listing for a tablet that just has 210 on it, either, in any of our prescription drug resources. Where was it found/obtained? With just the marking 210, this leads me to suspect that it is probably some type of over the counter medication, however, there is also a small chance that it could be a foreign medication. Does anyone else know what this is? ## I have the same pill, purchased from Osco Drug--it is amlodipine 5mg. I was checking it out, because usually my script is a smaller, white pill ## Thank you, Bonnie... ...

White, round, pill, scored on one side with A above the score & 215 below. Roxicodone? ## Hello, David! How are you? This tablet is manufactured by Actavis and they list it as containing 30mgs of Oxycodone in a regular release formulation, so it is a generic for Roxicodone. The FDA classifies it as a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation. Is there anything else I can help with? ## The Actavis oxy/30mg tablets are blue in color, and the "A" above the score is rounded. Is this a generic norco from walgreens? - white oval pill 2172 scored on back side blank ## will 2172 have the same effect as 3202? how much more friggin' detail do u want? ## @RPMJR, Yes, a white oval pill with 2172 is generic Hydrocodone Bitartrate 5mg + Acetaminophen 325mg with a National Drug Code of 0591-2172. Seems like a lot of people here on MedsChat have asked about this pill just within the past couple days so I'm assuming it's a relatively new product and not much info has been posted on the internet. For verification, Actavis Pharmaceuticals is the manufacturer. @Mr. Breeze, 2172 and WATSON 3202 are the same drug with the same listed dosage... White pill 2172 hydrocodone acetaminophen 5/325

2172 pills from Walgreens are not any where near Watson 3202. Don't relieve pain and will give you a headache. I tried to tell the pharmacist but they said that is what they shipped. This is what I have to deal with, *****s. ## There's actually been several complaints here recently on these newer 2172 pills. Since they're generic, my guess is that the percentage of active ingredients are probably less than other manufacturer's versions. Not to mention the different binders/fillers that affect bioavailability or cause unwelcome side effects. It's a shame that pharmacies always go for the cheapest offer they can get and care nothing about quality control for their loyal customers/patients who have to rely on this medication. white round pill says a 215 - was told it's oxycodone 30

I have a bunch of pills from India which were reportedly painkillers. I was told that they are oxycodone 30 milligrams but I cannot find anywhere else on the internet that verifies this. They are white, round and blank on one side with a 215 on the other. If anybody can let me know what these are for sure please do. ## Hi Bobby, Legitimate Oxycodone 30 mg tablets that are marked with "A 215" (separated by a horizontal score line) on one side and blank on the other, are blue in color, NOT white. Also the letter "A" is capitalized. For verification, the real ones are made by Actavis and carry a National Drug Code of 0228-2879. So I think it's clear what the discrepancies are in your description of how it looks. Personally I would dispose of them since they're obvio... ...

White Pill Arrow On It

Round circle white pill, had a V on the same side as 9 and 2 arrows or was it 911. Also don't remember if anything was on the back. ## From what I've read, a round white pill with a large arrow logo is Anacin (400 mg aspirin + 32 mg caffeine). However if you don't know what other markings are on the pill besides a V and some arrows, there's little chance of finding an definitive ID for it. Is the "V" in cursive/italic writing? If so, it's usually accompanied by a four digit number on the same side "OR" on back of the pill (often times with a score line as well). Example: V 20 91 V 21 09 V 3912 To my understanding, Vintage Pharmaceuticals and Qualitest Pharmaceuticals are the only manufacturers who use this particular "V" logo. I'd consider... ...
