White Round Tablet With Z 63

Can anyone help identify a little white tablet with "mp" on the top and "63" along the bottom? What is it? I have 2 in my house. ## I have 2 of these pills in my regular medication I also am querying this pill never seen it before and it doesn’t match the others , please help

little round white pill, with 636 on one side, and with FD on the other, it can be split in half on the FD side. ## Sorry, this isn't listed in any of the prescription databases, not even the professional ones. I would have to say it is probably an over the counter item, which aren't regulated and kept track of like prescription drugs, or a foreign med. ## I know that it is some kind of veterinary medication... Is there a metoprol 50mg with the number 631? ## Hi ambi, Based on my research, I don't believe there is a Metoprolol with that exact marking. Perhaps it could be a number within another set of numbers or imprint, but I'm not finding anything that matches 631 in and of itself. The closest Metoprolol I located is a white round pill with a triangle logo sitting above the numbers "831". This happens to be a 50mg Metoprolol succinate extended release tablet. I have been taking lorazepam with the #063, and a couple of mos. ago they said they don't have them or can't get them anymore. they tried to give me another pill saying it is the same, 2mg but it is not the same. I found a white round pill with a half moon symbol on one side and 063 on the other side ## From what I've been able to find, the half-moon logo is being used by Actavis to replace the R on their generic prescription medications. Going by that, this tablet with the half-moon logo and 063 on the opposite side contains 2mgs of Lorazepam, which is a Benzodiazepine that's commonly used to treat anxiety and nervous disorders. This is a very small round white pill. F D is printed on one side with a break line, 632 is the imprint on other side. ## In my investigation, the pill in description is reportedly identified as Torbutrol (Butorphanol tartrate), indicated for veterinary use in dogs to help alleviate coughing as well as acting as a sedative/pain reliever. Due to the lack of available information on this pill, I would still encourage you to get a second opinion from a local veterinary office or clinic, as there have also been rumors of this being a drug called Aminopentamide (Centrine) - which is also used in veterinary medicine for vomiting and diarrhea. There is a half moon looking marking on one side, and the numbers 635 on the other side - the pill is yellowish white. ## The closest thing which I have found so far (based on the "half moon looking mark") is Lovastatin 40 mg, manufactured by Actavis. Their pill is described as "yellow, round, flat-faced, beveled edge tablet ... Actavis logo on one side; 635 on the other side" [1]. If you see the manufacturer's logo at the top left of their site you will see that it does resemble a half moon. I hope this information helps!
