I found an off white gel pill that has p50 on it and the pill is oval ## It seems these gel pills with the P50 marking are an over the counter sleep aid that contains 5omgs of Diphenhydramine, the same ingredient in Benadryl or Unisom. It can be used to treat allergies, but does cause drowsiness as a side effect. Is there anything else I can help you with?

If the pill is a white oval with P500 on one side and nothing on the other then it is (Equate extra strength pain reliever/fever reducer acetaminophen 500mg) I'm literally getting ready to take 2 of them after I'm done typing this. If it's a white oval pill that has "P" on one side and "500" on the opposite side then and ONLY THEN is it a ciprofloxacin... PLEASE if you're not 100% on what a medication is call your local ER (Emergency Room) and they will 9/10 let you know what it is rather than listen to people who are misleading and could VERY WELL get you or your loved one KILLED!!! ## Thank you for clarifying this pill's true identity. I think some people researching the topic also tend to get mixed up between this and a purple oblong/oval pill with...

I have a prescription that I found moving, its about 2 years old, the bottle says 10mg Oxycodone/325 mg Acetaminophen. I tried to look it up and everything just says Acetaminophen but nothing about the Oxycodone. Some insight would be great. I'm wondering if someone ripped me off and switched pills. Regardless, they went in the trash. ## Is the P 500 on one side of the pill? Or is there a P on one side and 500 on the other? I see where it shows Walmart brand acetaminophen 500mg with imprint P500. Usually the label on the pill bottle will give a description of the pill (i.e. imprints, scoring). This pill (P500) is definitely not percocet. Sounds like someone might have pulled the ol' switcheroo on it. ## If the imprint is P 500 it is Ciprofloxacin 500 mg (Cipro-Brand Name) Ciprof...

white with 44575 on it ## I cannot find a listing for this exact pill, but that is because pills marked with a 44, followed by 3 additional numbers are over the counter products. There are sold in several countries as the generic or store brands of common over the counter items. OTC items are not required to log their imprints with the FDA, like prescription medications are. Does anyone recognize this? ## I have these pills. They are CVS brand Cold and Sinus made by LNK International. I was given a white oblong pill with p500 on one side and blank on the other side, I was told it is tyleonol, but is it? I have seen the same shape and imprint on rxlist but the pill was pink not white, and it doesn't say anything about a white pill. Is it Tylenol or propexyphene? ## Were you given this by your doctor or a friend? I only ask because the imprint and color have me questioning its authenticity. At present, the closest legitimate matches I've located are: A white oblong pill with "P" on one side and "500" on the other (Ciprofloxacin Hydrochloride 500mg) ~ As well as a pink oblong pill with "P500" on one side and blank on the other (Acetaminophen *aka Tylenol* and Propoxyphene Napsylate 500mg/100mg). It's a white pill blank on one side and has p500 on the other side ## Hi Ashley, *A white oval pill with a "P" on one side and "500" on the other reportedly contains 500mgs of Ciprofloxacin; used for treating infections. *A pink oval pill with "P500" on one side and blank on the other reportedly contains 500mgs of Acetaminophen + 100mgs of Propoxyphene napsylate; taken for pain relief. I understand that the description is slightly off, but unfortunately these are the two closest possibilities I could locate here. The pink pill described above is said to have been manufactured by Pliva. Because the imprint is identical it may be a good idea to contact the manufacturer directly just to see if they've ever changed the color of this specific tablet to white. ...

I found a white pill that has P500 on one side and the other side is smooth. I can only find a pink pill like this white one. So what is this pill? ## Hi Tiffany, Ciprofloxacin is the only remote match I've seen to this description; it's white and oblong, but has P on one side and 500 on the other. I think your best bet may be to contact the manufacturer of the pink version of P500 (Pliva Inc.) to find out if they changed their formula... Reason being is that I've also seen the same situation happen with pain medication tablet colors being changed from yellow to white over recent years, but still bearing the same exact imprint. So it's probably worth a shot. Just for the record, the pink version is identified as generic Acetaminophen (500mg) + propoxyphene napsylate (100...

Need help identifying a pill. It is white, oblong, has p535 on one side and 10 00 on the other. Both sides are scored. ## I can't find a listings for a tablet with these markings in our U.S. prescription drug resources. This means that it is most likely an over the counter product, but there is also a small chance that it could be a foreign medication. Where was it found/obtained?

I am a High School nurse, who needs to ID this drug. ## Can you please describe the color and shape of this pill? There does not seem to be much info on the imprint code you posted. ## this is a white pill oval shape and the only mark on it is p570 ## Jamie, no luck with the pill id; My guess at this point is that it is one of the following: 1) a drug from outside the USA 2) an over-the-counter drug; Basically any prescription medicine and common otc meds are easliy identified. If there is a pill with no information on it, it's usually an independently manufactured otc product. 3) an illegal drug Obviously i doubt it's number 3, but wanted to share my thou...
