After accusing my wife of taking prescription drugs without a prescription and then settling on a family friend who had recently been over, I found the AZ aspirin bottle the pill had come out of. It is probably aspirin. ## Hi steppenwolf, The closest match I've been able to find is a round yellow pill with the imprint A 266, it has been identified as Dipyridamole (50 mg). There is also a possibility that the pill is a (100 mg) Atenolol Tablet, but I haven't been able to confirm that identification. Manufacturer: Actavis National Drug Code (NDC): 52152-0266 Dipyridamole keeps blood clots from forming after some types of heart surgery. It is also used to prevent strokes and heart attacks. The modified release Dipyridamole is used in conjunction with aspirin (under the trade names ...

White oval shaped pill with flat around the side ## Can you please double check the imprint? I've actually found a couple that are close, but none have 266 on them, they're all numbers like 466, 465, 205 and etc. Do you have a friend that could look at it? I know the numbers can sometimes be hard to make out on these tablets.

My friend has come across a bottle of pills in her daughter's room. They are in a pharmacy bottle dated back in to 2005 and the pill imprint is A 266 and on the bottles label it says Carisoprodol A 266 350mg. Label on bottle looks legit. Has everything on it including pharmacare direct. The name is scratched out. Please is there anyone who can help me ## What are you trying to find out? If they were not prescribed to you; you should destroy them. Carisoprodol is generic ( the main ingredient) for Soma. Soma is a muscle relaxer. It's not narcotic unless combined with codeine, but it has been known to cause dependency. This drug has been discontinued, it is no longer prescribed. ## rst off I know if they don't belong to me that they should be thrown away. We are not stupid. My...

Anyone know what this pill is along with some sources to back it? ## Hi Jeff, From what I could gather, this is reportedly a 100 mg Atenolol Tablet, marketed under the brand name Tenormin. However, I'm finding that sources to back this up are scarce to come by, and I'm not sure why that might be unless it's a foreign or counterfeit medication. A comment in another thread had also mentioned what the diameter/size of the pill is supposed to be: Discuss/cyclobenzaprine-191970.htm Maybe that clue can at least be verified if you have a way to measure it. I hope this helps!

It is white with the number az 266. was suppose to be nitric oxide. the brand name was six star muscle builder. worried it harmed body. nobody can give answers not even the manufacter. thanks sincerly linda ## AZ 266 is Carisoprodol 350 mg, which is a centrally-acting skeletal muscle relaxant whose active metabolite is meprobamate. Although several case reports have shown that carisoprodol has abuse potential both by itself and as a potentiator of hydrocodone, dihydrocodeine, codeine and similar drugs, it continues to be widely prescribed in North America. I am trying to identify this small round white tablet labeled GG 266. ## Is a white oblong GG 266 generic Xanax? ## I believe the original imprint posted here is incorrect. There are a few possible tablets which are likely what the OP is asking about. The first one is a round white tablet with imprint GG 264. This is Atenolol 100 mg (NDC 0781-1507), which is a medication "used alone or in combination with other medications to treat high blood pressure. It also is used to prevent angina (chest pain) and improve survival after a heart attack." [1] Inactive Ingredients: - Cellulose, Microcrystalline - Magnesium Stearate - Silicon Dioxide - Sodium Starch Glycolate Type a Potato The second one is a round white tablet with GG 296 on it. That is Loratadine 10 mg (NDC 0781-5077). It...

A round white pill with A 266 on one side, what is it? ## I believe this is a generic Soma. They are different than the ones that I now get from the pharmacy but I was told they were Soma and saw somewhere else on the internet that they were. If anyone else knows for sure, please let me know because I'm not taking it until I am 100% positive that is what it is! THANKS!! ## I saw your post on the Soma muscle relaxant on the Prescription Drug Info site. Your were not sure about the accuracy of the generic substitute A266. This is a valid generic substitute. In my experience, most generic substitutes of any kind of medication are not as effective in strength or duration. However if procured from a reputable pharmacy, the safety issue is moot. It is much better to purchase the original ...

I have a orange and tan capsule with the imprint R2666, can you tell me what this is? ## Note: I am not a doctor nor a pharmacist. My father is taking a pill called Gabapentin for neuropathic pain (diabetes). This pill is 2 colors; brownish orange on one side and cream/off-white on the other side. It has -R-2666 imprinted on it and may be the pill you have mentioned. Please do not take this pill unless directed by your doctor; it has potential for some very bad side-effects. ## Yes, Dana is correct, this is Gabapentin in a 300mg dosage. it is actually used to treat Epileptic Seizures but has been found to also work for certain types of nerve pain.

My vet gave them to my 140 lb dog for pain in his joints. But it is a white elongated pill with a P on the left half and 100 on the right. He is supposed to take 1-1/2 every 12 hours as needed for pain. The vet has to check his liver every few months to be sure it isn’t causing any liver problems. ## I'm not sure but I think it may be carprofen (also known as Rimadyl). It is a NSAID commonly prescribed for veterinary use. ## It's actually prednisone. Hope this is what you are looking for. ## Hi Candice, Can you please verify how you came to the conclusion that it's prednisone? Generally prescribed in place of Carisoprodol (AZ 266 - round white pill, 3/8 diameter) because of its lower dose and other reasons; used mainly as a muscle relaxer, pain control and tranquilizer. AZ 266 can become addictive, while Cyclobenzaprine not so much. Look up either AZ 266 or Carisoprodol or Soma. ## Is Cyclobenzaprine the "street drug" known as "benzo's"? ## That is correct, Carisoprodol is a muscle relaxant, and is the active ingredient in Soma. It has been known to be abused, and to cause addiction in some people that take it. The typical side effects of this medication may include nausea, dizziness, dry mouth, headache, somnolence, and depressed mood, according to FDA reports.
