I am prescribed 5 mug of oxycodone. On the bottle is shows round white 48/10 but the pill inside is round white, bigger and just has the # 223. It doesn't seem to work on my pain is this a different type of Oxy? ## Both should be 5 mg oxycodone. Both generic and both manufacture by a different company. ## @Corinne, I do think it's strange that a pharmacy would give you two different manufacturer's products in the same bottle as another. However, despite being the same medication, they are still composed of different binders and fillers which directly affect bioavailability and overall drug efficacy. So one may still work better or worse just because of "alleged" inactive ingredients, which in my opinion aren't necessarily inactive at all if they affect absorption...

I'm not seeing any exact matches that fit your description, but came close finding a round white pill with "224" on one side and scored "once" on the other - which is reported to be 30mg Oxycodone HCL tablet, manufactured by Sun Pharma. This manufacturer also makes a 5mg Oxycodone HCL tablet with "223" on one side and scored on the other. However these are the only two pills I've seen that come even remotely close. Use your brain, instead of your Ba@@s! ## Roxicodone can look different depending on who has manufactured it, especially since they are available as generics. If you can post back with the markings from the tablet in question, I will gladly look it up for you and see what it contains. Aloha, I get my medication via the VA pharmacy in Oahu, and recently my doctor changed my Rx to be oxycodone immediate release 5mg. I always look up my medication to make sure what's on the pill is what I should be getting. I got a tiny round white pill with 223 on one side and the other side has a score line. Googling gave the answer that it is oxycodone hydrochloride 5mg, but didn't say if was or wasn't immediate release. I called the VA pharmacy and they said it is immediate release, and it's made by Golden State Pharmacuticals. Found a 233 imprint flat back 10 mg percocet with aspirin. Not from the us. ## The percocet I found with aspirin looks just like a small oxycodone 223 but only the 223 is a 5mg with a line on the back. And the 233 has nothing but a 233 on it and a flat back. This is a 10mg percocet also it is a small and white round pill. Hope this answers your questions on this matter I am 100 percent on this.
