pill is oval shaped with a tapered end if you turn the pill reading the number from left to right is reads 096 and if you turn it and read the number left to right on the larger end the number reads 960 other side does not have any markings ## I'm sorry, I tried both, but I can't find a listing in the U.S. prescription databases for anything that has just those numbers on it. Was it found in the U.S. or elsewhere? There is always a chance that it is something available over the counter, or a foreign medication.

Over the counter or prescription drug? ## The current regulations of the U.S. FDA require that all prescription medications have unique markings to enable their identification, in case of emergency. The only exception is for medications that are specially formulated by a compounding pharmacy, and they use capsules.
