I have two pills that are 800 mg Ibuprofen one has I8 on one side and the other pill has IP466 is there any difference in these two pills? ## No, they have just been made by different manufacturers. It's pretty common, once a medication is available as a generic and each manufacturer has to use different markings, so the pills can be traced back to them in case of an emergency. Learn more Ibuprofen details here. This is a nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory, so it may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, headache and stomach irritation. Is there anything else I can help with?

do the Ibuprofen IP 466 and the Ibuprofen I8 have the same exact inactive ingredients? I have gotten muscle pain and headaches with the I8 and never got them with the IP466 I thought maybe something was different in the inactive ingredients. can you please help me ## Hello, Kate! How are you? As long as they are using ones from the FFA approved list, none of them have to be the same from one manufacturer to the other, so yes, it could be the in actives that are causing your problem. Headaches can also be side effects of NSAIDs, though most people take them to treat headaches. Other side effects may include nausea, dizziness and stomach irritation. what is hydrocodoneI8 ## I've heard of Hydrocodone, but not of Hydrocodonei8 - where did you see this? Or is i8 the imprint on a pill you have? ## The pill is oval in shape, white no score mark, and has the imprint of I8 on it. I was told it is hydrocodone. When i searched it out it siad it looks out on the medical it said it remsembles a M360 Hydro ## Would you happen to know what country this medication was obtained from? If it is from the United States, then the predominant possibility is that it is actually an Ibuprofen 800 mg. Another similar marking is IB (instead of an 8), and that's a 200 mg Ibuprofen.
