What is this pill? I have no idea. ## Are you saying it has an R 178 and a 73 on it, or does it just have the R 178? An oval, white tablet with R 178 is a 10mg Amlate tablet, which contains the active ingredient Amlodipine, which is a calcium channel blocker that is most commonly used to treat high blood pressure and certain cardiac conditions.

This is Gabapentin 600mgs, a generic for Neurontin. This drug is intended to help prevent Epilepsy seizures, however, it has also been shown to treat certain types of nerve pain. But only certain kinds and it does not work for everyone, it also will not treat other kinds of pain, such as that sustained from a broken bone, cuts and etc.

Thanks in advance. ## W 737 contains 200mgs of extended release Metoprolol, the active ingredient in Toprol Xl, it most commonly used to treat high blood pressure. Does generic subutex have the numbers 501? ## Hi Leslie - Hmmm, I don't believe so. The only info I could find about a white tablet with the imprint 501 is Mirtazapine 45 mg, which is used to treat depression. (NDC 53808-0737). Does that sound about right to you? If not then I would double check where the medication was obtained. Are there any other markings or packaging for the tablet? Also, is it kind of oval shaped at all, or is it definitely a round circle?

White oval oblong pill with imprints ph 73 ## I'm sorry, but I can't find any listed for a pill with these markings. However, this could be due to the fact that the PH logo is used on over the counter products and they are not required to list those imprints with the FDA. Where was it found? Been on this med for a long time,last refill shape had changed, from round with score on one side to oval with 3 on one side 73 on the other side, both were white, last refill did not help me sleep, in fact felt had taken an upper, no luck talking to pharmacist, same pill they kept telling me, no sleep for me told them..So here I am looking for answers?...thanx ## Did you mean a tablet with E 79 on it? If so, yes it contains 10mgs of Zolpidem, but there can be slight fluctuations from one generic to another and the inactive ingredients can be completely different, so either reason could have caused your problem. there are two pills that I am needing some information on, one is a small oval white pill that is scored on one side with the numbers 37and 97 on the scored side and the other side of the pill has a v on it.
