Both of these tablets contain 10mgs of Hydrocodone and 325mgs of Acetaminophen, they have just been manufactured by different companies. When a medication is available as a generic, it is very common for it to be made by several manufacturers, this creates market competition to help keep prices lower. This is a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation. Drug store refiiled my prescription with a white oblong pill M367. I have been taking a yellow oblong pill 35 01 with a v on one side. Both I know are Hydrocondon-Acetaminopn 10-325. I recognize the M and V as the trademark manufacturer. I have found the yellow pill to be more effective than the white. Is this possible? ## Hi Karen, Different manufacturers use different inactive ingredients, binders, fillers etc...when making their "unique" formulations so it's possible that something that was used in the white pill could be causing your body to metabolize it differently than the yellow one. Sometimes those little things can effect us in a big way. I'm frustratingly surprised that doctor's and pharmacists don't mention these kinds of details to their patients. Ha...

These are the first ones ever I have seen from Pars Pharmacy and they are the lowest quality I have ever had to use. I have been taking norco daily for pain since 2004. I have never complained before about Generic medicine quality but this drug wears off at 2 hours if it even starts to work at all. I reported the pills to FAERS because they feel literally like a placebo. I have also reported this to my Pharmacy, pharmacy manager, the CVS Headquarters was notified and District Manager was notified, my Physician was notified and I saw him a week ago. We had a long discussion. He gave me a new prescription and told me go to a different pharmacy but even talking to pharmacies to learn what kind of Norco they ordered is like almost pulling teeth. The quality of Pars is low quality and very l...

I was normally given the yellow v 3601-10/325pill & at CVS yesterday they gave me a white oblong pill with # M367 on the front also 10/325 in strength . The white oblong does not work for me as well as the yellow v pill. Why not ? I've been thru this with CVS before & even changed CVS locations just to get the yellow v pill. Now that CVS is giving me the white oblong M367. What can I do about it??? They say yellow pill will be out of stock til later. It's sooo frustrating! ## There can be slight fluctuations in the amount of the active ingredients from one generic to another. For most people the changes are insignificant and have no effect, but you may be sensitive to them. In most cases, if you wait a couple of weeks, your body will adjust to the new ones. What is this generic for? ## I received generic Norco from Watson pharm. and light yellow, Watson 853, not as effective as the 1st RX, that I received from this new pharmacy. (I was using Wal-greens, go angry when asked to count pills with me.). The 1st RX was a darker yellow, and had a large V. I really felt relief. For the Manufacturer, Mfg:QUALI. My pill for hydrocodone 10/325. Is white, oblong and had 3601*v imprinted on it. Just got it from Walmart. Is this the correct pill? I am used to taking the yellow oblong. ## Yeah I got mine today and to my surprise they were white not yellow but very similar except for the white is V 3609 and the yellow is V 3601. I was dissapointed because I hate the white ones no matter what brand. I hope they don't stopped making the yellow like watson did. Now they serve u watson 853 in white! ## Many people here on MedsChat are saying the same thing about these V 3609 white pills being less effective. I think Post #1 is right about the white ones lacking efficacy all across the board from one manufacturer to the next. I've noticed a growing trend in action - Actavis's generic norco for...

What is the difference in the white oblong pill with m367 and the yellow with a V and 3601? ## The only difference between these two tablets is that they are manufactured by different companies. The one with the M marking is manufactured by Mallinckrodt Pharmaceuticals and the one with the V is manufactured by Vintage/Qualitest. This is a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation. But both are the same dosage and contain 10mgs of Hydrocodone and 325mgs of Acetaminophen. Is there anything else I can help with? ## Verwon, Your wrong. PHOTO OF NORCO10-325MG TAB ## Norco contains Acetaminophen and Hydrocodone.
