What is this pill? ## I have looked everywhere for information about a white oblong pill that has the impressions of ph 073 on it. No other markings. Pill identifier has no listing nor does poison control. Any assistance is much appreciated. ## Is it possibly PH 063? We have discovered that tablet to be 400mgs of Guaifenesin, a generic or store brand of Mucinex. If it really is PH 073, then it is also more than likely an oTC item, which would explain why it's not in any databases and also why poison control didn't know what it is. OTC items are not required to have their markings logged by the government. You can see several threads about the one with the PH 063 marking here: It is highly possible that this is the same substance, but in a different dosage. ## This pill PH 063 is...

Was found in a hydrocodone bottle ## If it is stamped Watson 358 or m358 its a Lortab; which Lortab is the brand name of Hydrocodone. ## The tablet with the Z71 marking is manufactured by Zydus Pharmaceuticals and contains 500mgs of Metformin, which is used to help lower and control blood sugar in diabetics. The FDA lists its typical side effects as possibly including nausea, dizziness, stomach pain, flatulence, hypoglycemia, and diarrhea. (NDC 68382-0760) Payton, Lortab is the name brand for it. Can I contact activas the maker or walgreens to have switched or will I have to take this for whole month ? ## Hello, Gail! How are you? Unfortunately, neither the pharmacy nor the manufacturer is likely to do anything. The best thing to do would be to talk to your doctor about possibly trying a different medication and then report this issue to FDA by calling them at 888-463-6332. This is a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation. White capsule pill with Endo 631 imprint on one side blank on the other ## @batcan, Looking on the internet I haven't come across any close matches that fit your pill's description... but knowing that the manufacturer is supposed to be Endo Pharmaceuticals should definitely point us in the right direction. If you want to reach Endo directly, the phone number on their website is listed as (800) 462-3636. They also have a customer service contact form you can fill out at endo.com regarding these types of inquiries, so getting in touch with them seems to me like it would be your best bet. Was this something you got at the pharmacy? ## Did this ever get figured out?

This pill is in the wrong bottle, can't find one like it. ## Hi jean, The closest match I'm finding to your pill is that of generic Mucinex (Guaifenesin) 400mg, used for chest congestion - expectorant. NOTE: This oblong white pill is said to have an imprint of "Ph 063" as opposed to "Ph 078"; with a score on one side as well.
