Trying to figure out what this pill is from a photo. Doesn't seem to have any markings on it but might be on the other side of the pill, however there are multiple pills in the photo and no markings on any of them. It seems to be a dark blue/purple color on half and the other half is cream tinted white. If you have any idea what this could be please help!! found these in boyfriends stuff. he is a gym goer and i wanted to know what they are? ## If there are no markings, it will likely be difficult to determine what they contain. We can rule them out as being a manufactured prescription medication, since they are all required to have imprints to enable their identification. However, it could be an over the counter product, a foreign medication or something specially ordered by a doctor and made by a compounding pharmacy. Are they actually a capsule, or are they caplets? ## MOST LIKELY THESE ARE A WEIGHLIFTING SUPPLIMENT., OR COULD BE A MEXICAN TRAMADOL NIETHER ARE A HUGE DEAL. i found an orange and clear capsule. it has little white beads in it. on the clear side it says medix and on the orange side it is either a W or maybe a butterfly. i have taken this pill to a pharmacy and they can not figure out what it is. i have researched for hours and still found nothing. if anyone can help it would be greatly appreciated ## Hello, Based on the description provided, I can't find any information to accurately identify your pill. I have had no problems with Gimalxina and amoxicilina from mexico. The Gimablina is white and red capsule. Best result with amoxicilina is the white and blue capsule. have taken it for years when sick. I will only get from a Benavidez pharmacy across the border, with my other meds. ## Hi suzann, What type of antibiotic is Gimalxina or Gimablina? I haven't actually heard of these names before. Do you take it in conjunction with the Amoxicillin or is this quite simply a Mexican brand name of "Amoxicilina"? I'd be curious to know how effective it might be in comparison to our standard US-based Amoxicillin against similar types of bacterial infections... These capsules are blue and white and I thought Nexium was purple. ## Generics do not look like the name brand medicines as that is part of the patent of the medication, generics aren't even the same look from all manufactures, even when you get the medications from the US, athough US generics all would have the same markings I do not know much about Mexican medications. I have an oral infection my wisdom teeth are coming out and I got the infection on my right side me. My mom gave me Penicilina v 800,000 u. Will that work? ## Hi Justine, In my personal experience, penicillin should work just fine for tooth infections and may keep the infection under control until you see your dentist... However, I think the only permanent solution would be getting the infected teeth out so the bacteria doesn't come back. Also, my opinion is that you'd probably need to take a full course of the antibiotic (7-10 days) to determine how well it's working.
