It Is a Tan/Brown On One side With 118 Written on it And KU on the white side. Its a capsule. And if i took it what would happen? ## This capsule contains 20mgs of Omeprazole, the active ingredient in Prilosec, this is a proton pump inhibitor that is used to treat or prevent conditions, such as heartburn, GERD and ulcers. was the color of this capsule change from aqua mylan6150 to ku 118 white/brown ## Mylan 6150 is manufactured by Mylan Pharmaceuticals Inc. Ku 118 is manufactured by Kremers Urban, and appears to be repackaged or distributed by a variety of other pharmaceutical companies. Even though the way a pill looks is entirely up to the whit and whim of the company making it, I don't think the company changed the color; it was simply manufactured by another company (as shown above), and that is why it is another color. Does that make sense? Please post back if you have any other general questions or concerns about this drug. ## Supposedly, omeprazole is now otc. KU 118 mfrd by Kremers Urban is much more effective for me than other omeprazole formulas. Friend obtains it through the VA. Under wha... ...

gold/brown lescol ku 118 ## I'm trying to help my Mom with taking her prescriptions, and she had an un-labled bottle full of these pills and she doesn't have any idea what they are. They are capsules, one side is white, the other is gold/tan. The marking on it says KU 118. Have any ideas? She believes that they were some OTC item she bought a long time ago and just placed it in one of her old prescription bottles, but she is not for sure. So is this OTC, or and actual RX?
