I am one of the patients of LF MEDICAL SERVICES. DR. MARJORIE LOUIS-JACQU WAS MY PCP DOCTOR. I TAKE 30mg OF OXYCODONE AND CAN'T FIND A NEW PCP. I'VE BEEN GOING BACK & FORTH TO THE EMERGENCY ROOM FOR A MONTH NOW. CAN U PLEASE HELP ME TO FIND A DOCTOR WHO WILL WRITE MY PRESCRIPTIONS FOR ME? was taking 10/325 endocet for a couple weeks, doc knew that I was taking 1 and a 1/2 at a time, switched me to 15mg oxycodone no Tylenol little green ones, they are not working that well, b 4 it was 15mg oxy with 550 mg Tylenol...he doesn't want me to take Tylenol really, is it to much to ask him for the 30mg oxycodone instead, cause with eating breakfast, lunch etc and my weight 270pds...its tuff to get pain relief from the 15mg and even adding another half of a 15mg...just wonder if anyone has any advice or knows what I am trying to say...or if anyone has or is in this situation...I new here. any comments or suggestions would be great...how do I know when someone answers or comments on my questions? thx T-bone ## Hi T-Bone, Welcome aboard to the forums. Hello, My name is mark. my doctor said that the new drug laws only allow for 200 mg of a opioid daily. I currently am on 4-30mg oxycodone and 2- 30mg 30mg morphine sulphate. He say's that he is going to have to remove 1 30mg of the morphine because it add's up to 220 mg daily.This makes no since to me because I take 1 long term in the morning and before bed I take the second, Is my doctor correct,becouse that means I will have nothing in the morning which will increase my pain level thru out the day? ## Hello, Mike/Mark! My husband has a bad back (bull stepped on him in high school) he's 37 now, and needs surgery. We cannot do that right now, so he's been on oxycodone 30mg, but we've moved 16 hours away from old dr. Need new dr in Ohio preferably near Canton, but at least somewhere near. Can anyone please help us find a Dr. who prescribes that. We've been looking, & not having any luck. I am wondering if you guys can help me. What is the comparison of 30mg oxycodone IR vs 30mg morphine instant release. Say I take 3 30mg oxycodone, how many 30mg instant morphine would I need? ## Oxycodone is one and half times stronger than Morphine, so for each 30mg Oxycodone, you'd need 45mgs of Morphine, or for 90mgs, you'd need 135mgs of Morphine. Both are narcotics, so you should make sure that you aren't taking more than your doctor has prescribed, because they can cause depression of the central nervous system, as well as respiratory depression. My boyfriend's doctor of 3 years changed practices and moved and now he cannot find a doctor who will write him the same prescription he was getting the last 3 years with her. I am on 30mg Roxycotin (oxycodone) 180 tablets per month. I have insurance, however, cannot find a pharmacy that has supplies of prescription (I hear many people are having this issue recently).
