I have a white oblong pill that I found in my sons room. Please let me know what this is. ## I want to know what an M395 pill is, what it is used for and what the side effects of it are? ## Is there any chance that your pill says M365 instead of M395? A white oblong pill imprinted with M365 on one side and scored on the other is reportedly identified as Acetaminophen + Hydrocodone bitartrate (325 mg / 5 mg); used for moderate to severe pain relief. Norco.pain killer.on one side it has m365 and the orther side is blank it has a line down the middle ## Hello, Lele! How are you? Yes, this tablet is manufactured by Mallinckrodt Pharmaceuticals and they list it as containing 5mgs of Hydrocodone and 325mgs of Acetaminophen, so it is a generic for Norco. The FDA classifies this medication as a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation. My doctor writes my prescription for Hydrodcod/Acetam 5-325 and the maker is Watson. When the drug store filled it last week it has M365 on the pill. I have taken three on three different days and noticed there was no relief. I took one pill 3 hrs ago and there has been no relief. That is the reason I took a pill out of the bottle and found the M365 stamped on the pill. If they are suppose to be the same - why is the pain still there? ## The M365 pills are indeed hydrocodone (5mg) + acetaminophen (325mg); however it may be that certain binders/fillers in these tablets affect bioavailability or how well they get absorbed into your system vs the other brand you're used to taking. If I were in this position, I'd probably see if the prescribing doctor could specify a particular manu...

Found and cannot remember what they are for?? ## The white pill which you are describing is Acetaminophen + Hydrocodone bitartrate (325 mg - 5 mg). Is a white oval pill w/ m365 a 10mg Norco? ## Hi Dodie, A white oval pill marked "M365" is identified as Acetaminophen 325 mg + Hydrocodone 5 mg. So to answer your question, no, this is not a "10 mg" Norco. It actually appears to be a generic version of Norco as well. It is manufactured by Mallinckrodt Pharmaceuticals and has a National Drug Code of 00406-0365 I hope this info helps! ## Is an oval hydrocodone with the number m365 on it a 7.5 milligrams ## ?? ?t? a 5/325 ?????c????? ?? t?at ?? w?at. k??? ?? p??? ??u have ## Ok my pharmacy giving me m365hydrocodone talking about its 10 stilling 0 ## I have an oblong white pill that is scored on one side and has m365 on the other. On the bottle I only remember it saying Hydrocodone, (this pill is white oglong scored halfway ant only has M365 on it. but want to know the strength compared with one I got as a prescription today for a tooth extraction that says 7.5 mg/325 mg. ## The one with the M365 also contains Hydrocodone coupled with Acetaminophen, but it only has 5mgs of the Hydrocodone, so it isn't as strong as the one you just received. The Hydrocodone is a narcotic, so it may cause side effects, such as: nausea, dizziness, headache and constipation. Learn more: Are there any other comments or questions?

As many as you are prescribed. If this doesn't work you should discuss with your PCP and possibly change to oxycodone 5/325. Even though the amount of aspirin (325mg) is lower than others too much can have adverse effects on your liver and kidneys. That is more to worry about for sure. ## Hi CR, Thanks for the sound advice! I agree with your perception of what might be the next step up from hydrocodone prescriptions; and also the concern of "acetaminophen" toxicity (I'm assuming you meant to say that instead of aspirin - as to my knowledge I don't think they make combinations of aspirin [acetylsalicylic acid] with pain meds), is that correct? Something else that may be worth noting is that oxycodone 5mg is available without acetaminophen as well, so you can easily av...

I understand that different manufacturers can actually use different amounts of the various ingredients in a particular medication. Is there any way to find how exactly what each manufacturer uses in their pill? ## Hello, Jerry! How are you? No, there is not. As long as they fall within the acceptable limits of plus or minus 20% of the active ingredients as compared to the name brand, they are considered therapeutically equivalent. The FDA classifies this medication as a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation. White oval shaped pill with v365 markings. Are these 10mg. Vicodin? I'm not sure as they are old? Any idea what they are? ## M365 is supposed to be the real marking on a white oval 5/325 generic Vicodin tablet. If there is a cursive V instead of an M, then my guess would be that the manufacturer was none other than Vintage Pharmaceutical (now known as Qualitest). But if it's an M, then the manufacturer is Mallinckrodt. Perhaps it would be a good idea to contact either one of these manufacturers directly regarding this inquiry, just to cover all angles. Also, depending on where or how you came about getting this pill, it may even be a counterfeit (if not from a licensed pharmacy)... ## The v 365 is an old version of Vicodin, it was 5 mg hydrocodone 500 mg of tylenol

Is a norco 365 stronger then a vicodin 357 and why ## Based on my research, Norco M365 is "weaker" than Vicodin M357. It's simply a matter of each pill containing a different dosage of Acetaminophen. Norco M365 contains: Acetaminophen (325 mg) + Hydrocodone bitartrate (5 mg). Vicodin M357 contains: Acetaminophen (500 mg) + Hydrocodone bitartrate (5 mg). Learn More: Acetaminophen + Hydrocodone If you have any more questions or concerns, please post back and I will be happy to help you. ## Is m365 stronger than m360 in vicodin ? ## I had a doctor prescribe the 5-300 Vicodin, and not only did it cost a whole lot more ($68 for 60 when 120 Norco cost $44), but in didn't work as well as the Norco.

I have two halves of hydrocodone that both say M36 and the other half is gone. Are Hydrocodone 5's M365 and 10's M367 the exact same size pill or is one smaller? I don't know if I have two halves of a 5 or 10 or one of each? ## Hello. The Hydrocodone with v36 on one side and 09 on the other is a 10-325. The 365 is a 5-325 which is a 5 (but not sure). What is the difference between Hydrocodone m367 and v3609? Are they the same? If so, which one is best or stronger? ## I found this thread because i was wondering if anyone else had noticed a difference. I've been on 10-325 hydrocodone for several years as part of my pain management regimen. Most of the time the pharmacy has given me the generic made by Mallinckrodt (sp?) with the M367 marking and they work well for my pain ...

I found a half white oblong pill with one side ending in the number 65 and the other side ending with the number 6 ## Hi Puma, With only half a pill the other numbers could be anyone's best guess, but I did come across a couple pills that may be suspects: The first is a white oblong pill with 6469 on one side of the pill and a V on the back. If you were to cut it in half you'd have a 6 on one half and a 64 on the other half. It contains 10mgs of Zolpidem tartrate by Qualitest Pharmaceuticals. The second is also a white oblong pill with M365 on one side and scored on the back. If this pill was divided you'd have 65 on one half and maybe half of an M on the other that could in some way or another be mistaken for a number depending what sort of condition the pill is in. It cont...

I am prescribed Norco M367 and my sister have Norco M365, which one is the stronger?? ## Hello, Atawaa! How are you? Both of these tablets are manufactured by Mallinckrodt Pharmaceuticals and they list the one marked M 367 as containing 10 mg of Hydrocodone and 325mgs of Acetaminophen (NDC 0406-0367), and the one marked M 365 as containing 5 mg of Hydrocodone and 325mgs of Acetaminophen (NDC 0406-0365). Thus, M367 is the stronger dosage. The FDA classifies this medication as being a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation. ## I would also like to know that answer, which is stronger the pill marked m365 or m367? ## 367 are 10 mg per narcotic and 356 is only 5 mg per narco...
