found this need to know what it is very tiny round white with imprint 4 on one side ## It sounds like a hydromorphone generic for dilaudid a four milligram. They have different manufactures they also come in yellow color with 4mg. These are used for severe pain. ## Hello, Sarah! How are you? According to the prescription drug identification databases, the Hydromorphone that Jeanie mentioned would also have an M on it. The FDA lists that this is a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation.
