I found a white oblong pill with the markings L484 on one side and blank on the other. A friend said it was a generic form of Vocodin, and he wanted to swallow it. I took it back and told him that he was some kind of nut. I still have it and wanted to know if anyone knew what this pill is. After I find out I will throw it away. As a matter of fact I think I will get rid of it right now. ## L484 is not actually a narcotic medication - It simply contains 500 mg of Acetaminophen which is generic for Tylenol. ## Hi Roy, Is there a particular name for this pill, they seem to put Acetaminophen into everything, related to pain and why always 500mg which is as I undrerstand is a very low doseage. ## Hi Jayjay124 - No particular name, it's just straight Acetaminophen. No other active ingredi... ...

Half Of White Oval Pill 84
4 Replies RSS
I found a half of a white oval pill scored 84 (the left half is missing) In my teenage sons room. I'd like more info befour I ask him about it. Any help or advice please? ## With only half of the pill, so this site doesn't know the full imprint, it is going to be difficult to narrow down what this is. There are several possibilities, both among prescription medications and over the counter products. Just as an example: A white, oval, marked L484 is 500mgs of Acetaminophen, a generic, or store brand of Tylenol. It could be half of this one is the imprint is kind of shallow and not well done, since it's an over the counter product. Does anyone else have any ideas of what this could be? ## found the same thing in my pocketbook when I emptied it andU I believe it is an OTC Aceto... ...

This is an oblong (oval), white tablet with the imprint L 484 on it. Somebody told me it is a pain killer but I don't know exactly what kind it is. Can anybody tell me? ## L484 is Acetaminophen 500 mg, which is generic for Extra Strength Tylenol. Nothing to be concerned about, as it is a common over the counter med. Do you have any other questions about this? Please post back if you have any information to add... ## <img border=0 src= border=0 width=1 height=1 src= ...

P500 markings on Walmart brand Tylenol, normally marked L484
2 Replies RSS
Yes I found these in a generic Walmart brand of tylenol, 500 mg. I buy them all the time and they are normally printed with L484. I always check before I take them because I am on a lot of medication and don't want anything mixed up. Of course I just freaked out on my kids and husband thinking somebody had brought narcotics of some kind in to our house. ## Hi Kerri, Sorry to hear about what happened between you and your family. I hope they realize that you meant well and were simply concerned about everyone's safety/well-being. That said, I too find it very strange that a completely different tablet would be inside another box of medication. It's a shame that there's no easy way to prove it to a pharmacist there at Walmart. The P500 (oblong / pink) tablet reportedly cont... ...
