Why would doctors stop writting a prescription of Lorazepam, which has worked for over 20 years for a patient who has panic disorder, because the patient is now too old at 70? Any input is appreciated. ## Hello Yusho, This NIH Article briefly explains why your doctors are choosing to stop your prescription. In a nut shell the medication works fine but studies have shown that older patients are more likely to experience adverse side effects. Some of these side effects can be life threatening which is why the NIH and FDA strongly suggest ceasing prescribing the medication as the patient ages. I hope this helps. Please reply if you have any further questions or have additional information to add. ## i was just discussing this topic with my doctor. I believe that the ``newer generation'...

I found Zerodol Plus very effective in alleviating inflammatory pain in the rib-cage. The pain was so severe that movement became practically restricted. I couldn't even sit, lie down either on the back or on the stomach because the pain would be constantly there and movement would just aggravate it. Thirty minutes after taking Zerodol Plus the pain subsided almost 70%. So, I am taking one tablet every 12 hours and as it gradually gets better I am going to take 1 Zerodol Plus every 24 hours until the pain would disappear. ## To avoid getting stomach problems I take Zerodol Plus with non-spicy food and 'drinking yogurt'. I had a little headache after taking it but that subsided later. However, it also caused me to sleep a little deeply.

I am a 70 year old Indian male suffering from a breathing problem after severe symptoms of breathlessness developed one month ago. Along with other medicines Dytor Plus was prescribed. Now I am feeling weakness, pain and cramping in lower limbs. Please let me know what should be done? ## It sounds like they may have thought you had a heart or blood pressure problem, since that's what the NIH lists this medication as being used to treat. Did they do any tests? Have you consulted a cardiologist? Do you have any diagnosed medical conditions? Do you take any other medications? The symptoms you've listed can be common side effects of this medication, according to the U.S. FDA, you may also experience headache, nausea, and frequent urination.

small blue pill M on one side 70 on the other ## I'm not finding an image or listing with these markings that matches this. Either in Tranxene or any other medication. However, if it is a new generic, it may not be in the databases, yet. Tranxene contains the active ingredient Clorazepate, which would also be the generic name. It is used to treat insomnia and anxiety. Common side effects may include: nausea, drowsiness, headache and irritability. Read more here: Do you have any other questions?

Hi, I'm Alex, I live in Spain and I have tdah. It turns out that I have tried all the treatments that exist here in Spain for ADHD and the one that has come closest to treating my symptoms has been lisdexanphetamine in a dose of 70mg + 70mg that is twice the maximum dose. I have researched that in the United States and Canada they use pharmaceutical methamphetamine as a medicine and it is very effective, but here in Spain they do not sell it. My question is this: If I go to Canada or the United States as a tourist, could I be prescribed this by a doctor? The other question is if I can be prescribed it, could I bring the medicine on the plane without having problems with customs? Thank you. ## It could be prescribed to you, though it would be much easier to see a doctor in the U.S., ...

What role does Pantocid D play in treating patients with gas problems? Could you please specify the appropriate dosage strength of this medicine? Also, how many times a day should it be taken by a 70-year-old patient like me? Please provide details. ## Pantocid-D contains 10mgs of Domperidone and 20mgs of Pantoprazole. It is used to help prevent heartburn and GERD, but really doesn't have an effect on gas. As a matter of fact, increased gas can be one of the side effects of these medications, as well as: nausea, drowsiness and dizziness. If the condition you are referring to is Gastroparesis, which is a stomach motility problem, not actually a gas problem, then yes, it is used to treat that. In most cases, it is taken once a day, before breakfast, however you should follow your doct...
