I wouId appreciate some feedback on anyone's experience with taking Valium time released capsules. I'm desperately needing relief from my extreme anxiety conditions. ## It is called ValRelease and works just like other benzodiazepines or other forms of Valium, except it is slow released over time to help keep your symptoms under better control. Can anyone that's actually taken it chime in? The FDA warns that it carries the risk of being habit forming and could cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, headache and irritability. ...

round, lite blue,Mylan A1 ## This is not generic valium, rather it is generic extended release 1mg. Xanax. It is a benzodiazipine just like valium is but a different drug. It is used to treat anxiety, panick attacks, seizures, convulsions, and sometimes muscle or nerve problems. It can help relax the smooth muscles in the back, etc. It is not a narcotic or is it a so called addictive drug; however, I have come across many people who have become physically addicted to it. It can cause marked drowsiness, dizziness, fainting spells, slurred speech, thirstyness, euphoria. ...

Half Dose Valium

can you break a valium tablet in half if the effects are too strong ## Yes, unless a medication is a time released formulation, or you've been given specific instructions not to do so. When something is time released, cutting or breaking it could cause you to receive to much of the medication at once and there are some medications that are specially coated to prevent damage to the esophagus and stomach, which would be defeated by breaking/cutting the tablet. Learn more Valium details here. What is the dosage of the tablets? ...

I had Brain surgery from an anuerysm in 04 and have suffered from anxiety and depression -i have used Xanax in the past but a new doc put me on clonazepam - what can i expect? ## Mainly a very similar effect, they are both in the same drug class, Benzodiazepines. Klonopin Info Click Here ## Clonazepam which is the generic name for Klonopin, is in the same family as Xanax. I myself have been on Xanax long term and am starting Clonazepam at the present. The effects are very similiar but the Clonazepin seems to work longer than the Xanax, and has more of a relaxant compared to Xanax ## Valium is also in this same drug class. Some work better for some people than others, even though they are in the same drug class. Just the way our bodies work. You can also get these now in extended release... ...

I'm quite upset and feel like the rug was pull out from under me. I've had five back fusions via three surgies (4 cervical & 1 Lumbo-sacral ) , one surgery for silicone toxicity/ removal, 2-surgies on my hands, 1- surgery on my bladder. I've already detox-ed myself off of lortab, phentyl patches prior to each surgery.. My problem now is managing my chronic pain that's left over...I'm better since the surgeries but far from whole pain wise. I hurt so bad that I can't shower, or dress without help if I don't take some form of pain medication. I mearly use 30mg morphine extended release three time a day, as needed at night 1- 10mg percocet or valium to help sleep or decrease muscle spasms. little round orange pill 60 on one side and abg on the other found in sons car ## I hope you did not read and believe the prior incorrect answer that was posted. This pill is DEFINITELY morphine 60mgs, an extended release version, a generic for MS Contin. I don't even have to look this one up to check what it is, because I suffer a chronic pain condition and I have a whole bottle of these right here in my hand. So it is definitely morphine and not any type of Valium or benzodiazepine. ...

It is available in higher doses in both regular and time released formulations, without the Acetaminophen. Have you ever asked your doctor about trying it? ## Sorry for not answering sooner. If I have been taking Ativan 2mg 4 times per day for 8 years and it is obviously lost it's affectiveness, would changing to Xanax 2mg 4 times a day be the next step? Valium does not help at all. (Take Ativan for PTSD) I've worked in the medical field for 20 years and was not aware that Xanax came in a 2mg pill......seems like a lot!) ## No, it probably wouldn't make a difference, there is no dose conversion between the Lorazepam in the Ativan and the Alprazolam in the Xanax, they are considered equivalent to each other. There is, however, a 3mg extended release Xanax available. From other posts that have been made here, it seems that a lot of people that have grown tolerant to their current dosage have had success switching to the extended release.
