what is this orange pill with 54 375

Suboxone, more specifically Buprenorphine hcl/Naloxone hcl was never intended for chronic use or maintenance purposes. I am on the board of directors of a substance abuse treatment organization in upstate New York. We have several facilities at all stages of the continuum of care. Here is New York state, as in many states throughout the country, there is a consistent, persistent rise in clients requiring treatment for Suboxone dependency and Suboxone addiction. When used in its intended manner, which is for supervised medical detoxification only Suboxone presents very little risk of inducing drug seeking behavior, and only a mild risk of tolerance and dependency. It is to be used only in progressed opiate dependency and intended to be started 24-48 hours after the last agonist dose, and... ...

It is a generic for Suboxone, which is most commonly used to treat drug addiction. I placed it under my tongue yesterday and man the taste was awful!!! ## It is a sublingual tablet, a generic for Suboxone and not everyone appreciates the flavor. Orange round 54/375 pill

I have been taking the white half moon subs for 3 months now , and today I picked up my script and realized a Roy d orange colored pill , none the less , this me generic sub is even more disgusting then the half moon pill and feel as though they do not work... Has anyone out there experience the same thing ?? ## Same for me. I had to take 2 1/2 8mg pills to feel comfortable. Not cool. I wish the d****bags that approve this crap would go back to making the stoppies, or stop signs from a few years back. If it ain't broke, don't fix it.. Unless, ya know, they weren't making QUITE as much money off of them as they are now, probably. Then sure, f*** everyone over in that case. Greedy. ## I have been on suboxone for about 7 years. I used to have a bad oxycontin addiction, and thro... ...

orange round pill with 54 375

is it the same med's as my old one that saids( an 415) ## Hello, Tom! How are you? Yes, these are both 8/2mg Suboxone generics. This is a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation. They are just manufactured by different companies. Is there anything else I can help with? ## Hi Tom, Based on my research, both pills you described are generic Suboxone, containing 8mgs of Buprenorphine HCL + 2mgs of Naloxone HCL. The one marked 54 375 is manufactured by Roxane Labs and the one marked AN 415 is a product of Amneal Pharma. That said, the only differences that might be found are probably within the list of "inactive" ingredients; since this usually varies for each man... ...

same problem with the orange round pill with 54 375

I'll admit it I've been taking a half of sub a day (only a half, no more) for 2 years and now with these new peach ones I'm up to almost a whole one a day. It just doesn't keep me straight with no withdrawal symptoms. I'm not saying what I'm doing is right with the way I'm taking it, but know it or not, when these were first made they were supposed to be in a suppository form. Anyway just saying I know me and I know my body and these new ones are not holding me over like all the other ones did. why idk, I'm not the man in the lab. ## Tenncare is just starting everybody that gets suboxin tablets to try the new ones.. Does anybody know if their the same or have different effects? ## Whenever you switch to a new tablet/manufacturer, if there's not a chan... ...

hi jim here i just stated taking these 54 375 pills yesterday they seem the same as the others just wandering are these just as good as the strips? or should i switch thanks ## Hi jim i personally dislike the gen sub 54 375. I just got them in replace of the actavis 155 ..id tell you to take the actavis 155 there the closet to the old N8 which i loved. then id choose the film strips but there not dispensing the 155 anywhere near me or anywhere in general. So id stick with the film srips if i were you.. I took back the 54 375 and got the film. ## Is there a reason why they keep dumbing these down? It's getting ridiculous at this point. Do they WANT us to relapse? ...

orange round pill with 54 375 comment

Ive been on suboxone for 8 years. Since 2006. I know a lot about the pharmaceutical properties of medications from being an addict and being obsessed with learning everything i could about them. I hear these myths about generics not being as good as the brand name and so on, let me tell you something, to become a generic the main ingredients, the ones that actually effect you HAVE to be in the exact same quantities, So if these orange 375's have 8 mg Bup/2 Mg Nal then they will effect you THE EXACT SAME WAY AS a strip ( which I'm on, and was on the old N8's forever, and so glad they have these strips now), have taken the 375's, and its the same. Is the placebo effect that strong? I cant stand hearing friends try and tell me how this medication isn't as good as the ne... ...

How to take orange Suboxone pill with 54 375

How do you administer the orange Suboxone pill imprinted with 54 375? Do you swallow it or put it under your tongue? ## Just put under your tongue like a strip but I only put one at a time ## Yes, this is a sublingual tablet that is intended to be dissolved under the tongue, however, there is no harm if it is accidentally swallowed, it will just take a bit longer to be absorbed and start to have an effect. The FDA warns that this medication carries the risk of being habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, headache, dry mouth, and constipation. Is there anything else I can help with? ## Actually bruprenorphine has almost no effect if swallowed. That iz wby they warn not to talk while taking sublingually , and why some people think the strips are stronger. Its... ...

I been on the half moon ones and was just put on the orange 54 375 ones and they work the same I don't got a problem with them its all in your head if u think that they don't work as well its same formula as all other subs ## Hi James, Glad to hear that this is working well for you despite switching manufacturers, as not everyone seems to be so lucky in that regard. Just wanted to mention on behalf of anyone else that may be noticing differences felt between different manufacturers, is that these inconsistencies are typically caused by the variations of "inactive" ingredients more so than anything else; at least according to what I've been reading up on. Apparently there are certain binders/fillers that these companies use which cannot be fully metabolized by our bod... ...

peach pill 375

These are definitely weaker for me. They say binders could be the blame. I was taking a quarter of the first orange generics, those were weaker than the name brand, but the 54/325's r horrible. I've had to take a whole pill and that was not even 24 hours ago and I woke up in sweats and complete withdrawals. They suck. I'm going to make sure I go to Walgreens, not CVS! NOW, what am I supposed to do for 10 more days? I only have two and a quarter left. My Dr won't help. Either I find some off the street of I will find opiates which is easier, my first relapse in three years cuz these pills are not as strong. Great. ## I agree!!!! They are nothing they are claimed to be! Especially after taking 20 + perc 10s a day!!! I'm at day 7 today without Percocet, not one, and the... ...

need help identifying this pill

Is there a peach colored round suboxone with 54 375 imprinted on it.... ## Good question. I'm wondering the same thing. The doctor in charge of my suboxone clinic has decided to stop the program and is making everyone taper off. I guess she is the suboxone god, taking charge of everyone's decision about the length of their recovery. Anyway, when I went to fill the script she wrote to start my detox it was this new colored and numbered suboxone pill. This pill is peach colored, my old pills were orange. I have no idea what the difference is, but these new ones say 54/375. I would have liked a "heads up" but I guess she doesn't think that is important. ## Hello, Just to confirm, a round peach colored tablet marked "54 375" is in fact a generic suboxone pill, co... ...

Generic Suboxone 54 375

Since I've been taking this new generic suboxone 54 375 it make my arms and hands hurt!! I've been taking suboxone for 3 years now, and I've been switched to most everyone that's came out. I was taking the orange with AN 415 on them. It's now been 7 days and everyday it does the same, causes pain in my arms and hands. Then as the suboxone wears off they stop hurting. I know it sounds weird but I swear it's the truth!!! Anyone else having problems with this new generic suboxone 54 375?? Please comment!! ## Hello, Barry! How are you? I'm very sorry about the problem you're having. It really doesn't make much sense, to be quite honest. If the new tablet was a little lower in the amount of the active ingredient, since there can be fluctuations, I'd at... ...

suboxone 54 375 how to take it

Iv been on Suboxone for almost 2 years now , and iv tried every single manufacturer you can think off, starting from the very first orange oval shape ones which are the original ones not generic ones , from that to strips ,an415 orange round , white round moon imprint to, white round lemon lime ones to bupes , which are the small round ones and have a 8 logo on the front and a arrow logo on the back , and in my opinion those are the best ones because they have no naloxone in then just 8 mg of buprenorphin , those ones work the best but they are not given out much because or abuse, I am on the round peach ones right now imprint 54 375 and they are working perfectly for me , as a matter of fact they work really good for me way better then the white round ones with the imprint if moon on t... ...

generic suboxone tablet 54 375

I was on the generic suboxone pill the round orange AN 415 tablet when I went to pick up my remaining partial perscription I saw that the pharmacist handed me a completely different pill it was the new pink/peach 54/375 tablet I immediately questioned this pill wondering if in fact it would be as good! Well I took the first one tonight and I feel they work much better for me I agree with many others on this forum it's all mainly the way the body metabolizes it in my opinion it's like different strokes for different folks! ## Glad to hear that this newer tablet is working well for you. Does anyone no what pill is better or are they the same? Today my pharmacy gave me the orange 54-375 but i was taking a white pill with 155 on it the orange one is a little smaller. And just dont seem like it would work as good i think Roxanne is the maker can any one help me? I switched pharmacy to save money 20 bucks less for 60 not sure if this is good also these came 60 loose were the white ones are individually wraped thanks jim ## The size of the pill is not relevant, that really just depends on what inactive ingredients they decided to use in it. However, the dosages are the same, it is listed by Roxane as containing 8mgs of Buprenorphine, and 2mgs of Naloxone (base). The FDA warns that it carries the risk of being habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizzine... ...

Preferred brand of generic Suboxone (Buprenorphine/Naloxone)

I was prescribed and took Suboxone Films for 3 years, and tolerated them very well. Unfortunately, my insurance stopped paying for the films, and I had to start taking the generic Suboxone tablets (Buprenorphine/Naloxone 8/2mg sublingual tablets). I filled my first prescription at Rite Aid, where they gave me the hard, orange tablets made by "Amneal", with the imprint "AN 415". I went into withdrawal the second day after beginning those pills. That was the worst month of my life, as that medication did absolutely nothing beneficial. This month, I took my prescription to CVS, where I was given peach colored tablets with the imprint of "54 375", manufactured by "Roxane". While this brand is slightly better than the Amneal brand, I am still having adverse ef... ...
