What Is The Pill With A333 On It

I went to CVS got mine filled on Feb 18 2014 it was also the Actavis brand Oxycodone and I have taking different brands before and never had this feeling. I am having really high blood pressure, chest pain, my left arms feels asleep, my left leg as well,plus I get this pain down my left leg. I get them filled on the 18th and only takin 11 of them, even though they are prescribed 4 x day. I took 1 Tues morning at 11 am and by 3pm all them signs above came on, it lasted till wed about 6 to 7 pm. everything went back to normal. My blood pressure was fine, and non of the signs about. The only other thing I took was my blood pressure pills. I called the pharmacy and asked them if it had anything to do with the new Actavis Oxycodone since that is the only thing NEW IS THE BRAND ACTAVIS OXYCOD...

What is a white oblong pill with A333 on it? It is supposed to be a Percocet but feels more like a Hydrocodone to me. ## I agree. It feels like a hydrocodone to me too. Why is this pill so hard to find info on? If it is oxycodone the drug # does not come up when you search it? Just like to be sure that it is what it is supposed to be. This a333 is generic for percocet and CVS is dispensing them, OXYCODONE 10/3.25 is what they are. ## Thanks for taking the time to share this information. They did not discountuine he WATSON brand that was what the pharmacy was telling you so they did not have to explain why they did not have the New Abuse Pills made, There was a contract made the Actavis would be the ones to do the pills and that is why they are filling all Pain meds. I have been on Norco 10/325 for 10 years after I had 8 back surgeries. Now I am on a333 and it is like sugar pills that wont help with my pain. ## This tablet is manufactured by Actavis Elizabeth and they list it as containing 10mgs of Oxycodone and 325mgs of Acetaminophen. This is supposed to be Percocet??? Very concerned. ## Apparently someone else who was looking for this same exact pill on another thread, said it was supposed to be a Percocet 10/325mg tablet. However, I understand that the imprint has an R and not an A. It's just the only relative match that I found is "A333" on a white oblong (capsule-shaped) tablet. Makes me wonder if the manufacture simply made a mistake on a good batch of their pills? You could try calling the U.S. Customer Relations for Actavis at +1 (800) 272-5525. I just started taking the A333 pill. It is supposed to be a generic substitute for oxycodone 10/325. I was taking the Watson 932 generic substitute but was switched to the A333 pill because of drug store supply. I just got this medication from a local CVS pharmacy. I had to pay because they once again lied to me about Oxycondone being taken off the market and that my insurance no longer covers this medication. The truth about A333 is LESS Tylenol. If this pill does not work as well as Watson 932 just take an extra Tylenol pill with it. I too used to take the Watson Marked ones, but CVS switched to these and I find these VERY VERY effective. I think that the reason some people don't like them is there body is used to the other and a lot of it maybe "brain" issues. Your brain is used to taking "Watson's" and when you change your brain is saying Ol no something different it won't work, helpppp... But rest assured your body WILL get used to them and start to work, it just takes time. I have been taking percocet 10/325 for years for a severe pain that is constant and over the years received several different shapes as well as colors for this medication. I just got a scrip filled (3 hours ago) and took one of this pills upon arriving home and I do not feel ANY pain relief. I was wondering if it was just me or if this med takes longer to work?? "A333" on the other hand is reported to be a generic Percocet, containing 10mgs of Oxycodone hydrochloride + 325mgs of Acetaminophen. Pills that are close to oxycodne or look similar otc ## @Dakinm, Sorry to say this, but there are no OTC pills that resemble A333 oxycodone pills enough to pass for a substitute. This is mainly because no other tablet carries the same type of imprint; which is used to identify the substance, dosage, and manufacturer. I don't know what your reasoning is behind wanting to find something similar, but anyone who takes a moment of their time to look up the imprint wont be fooled by that approach. This may not be the kind of answer you're looking for, though, I believe honesty is the best policy.

Is R333 Percocet 7.5/325? My last prescription for Percocet 7.5/325 said R332 and was flatter than the R333. ## Hi E J, There actually aren't any pills marked "R333" that fit your description. I think you may have meant to say "A 333" which is a white oblong pill containing 10mgs of oxycodone + 325mgs of acetaminophen (generic for Percocet). "A 332" fits the same physical description as the previous pill, aside from being slightly flatter due to having a smaller dosage of oxycodone (7.5 mg) instead of the 10mg in A333.
