At what age can a person take Baralgin M 500 mg? ## Hi Christine, Please correct me if I'm wrong, but to my understanding there aren't any set age requirements for taking prescription or OTC drugs, unless it is confirmed by your doctor/pharmacist or specified on the label of your medication. It was discovered however that Baralgin (Metamizole) carries a small risk of causing agranulocytosis, a potentially fatal condition.
