I know the Westward brand-they are no longer making-but CVS has told me they can't get the tablet form of the generic brand of fiorinal-so I have to look elsewhere ## Hello, Suz! How are you? I'm sorry about the problem that you're having! And no, the tablets are no longer available, just the capsules. There have been many people that don't like them as well, or who feel they don't work as well, but there's really nothing that can be done about it. Have you tried any other medications? Perhaps your doctor can help you find an alternative. ## Is there any place in the worlds to get fiorinal tablets? Canada? Any place? I need them bad! Migraines. Nothing else works! Tell Actavis to start making them again!!!!

For many years, Fiorinal with Codeine "Brand" capsules knocked out your headache with no side affects and allowed you to be productive. Since the last year or so since Watson became "Activis", this drug is not the same. They don't work as well, do not knock out the headache. I've heard it might be the "fillers", or maybe they are not making them strong enough. I imagine the generic form are not as good also. It is a shame that we sufferers have to deal with this. If you call Watson Activis, they tell you "nothing has changed". ????? ## It has been a week since I am taking the Fiorinal with Codeine "generic" made by Watson Manufacturer. Out of all the generics I've tried, this one is the best. They relieve my headache with no side affec...

Is the blue and yellow fiorinal codeine capsule imprinted with "watson 956"? Is the manufacturer Actavis? Is it a brand or generic version? ## This capsule is manufactured by Watson Laboratories and they list it as being the brand name Fiorinal with Codeine. The FDA warns that this medication carries the risk of habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, headache, dry mouth, and constipation. ## I can not take very many medicines without allergic reactions. The one especially is Fiorinal/codeine made by Watson Company with this capsule I do not get sleepy, nor do I get a horrible double over the stomach ache for hours and hours it also gets rid of my headaches instead of making them worse. The one that was the best was the blue and yellow capsules with ...

white cricle ## This is a generic form of something called Fiorinal, (the generic ingredients are butalbitol (a sedative), caffeine and aspirin). It is used for serious migraine headaches. It is a very common migraine medication. It is not a controlled substance; however, it can make you very very tired after the caffeine loses its effect. ## Butalbital is a member of the barbituate family, so it can be physically addicting ( 'habit forming'). Your experience may vary. My experience with Fiorinal was that I DID build up a tolerance, so that the doctor had to prescribe me ever larger & larger doses, taken more & more often. However, I was not aware of any withdrawal symptoms when I was not taking the stuff. ## The pill has west word 785 what is it. ## Westward and it'...

This is generic Fioricet (Butalbital 325mg / Acetaminophen 50mg / Caffeine 40mg) pain medication prescribed for severe migraine and sinus headaches. It has been around for decades. It is not an opiate and this is not considered a "scheduled medication", (yet, the brand name of this medication "Fiorinal" IS labeled a schedule III controlled drug). It may cause drowsiness and it can be habit forming. (Photo here: Pill Image) ## Thank you for providing such a thorough pill identification, description and image for reference. For additional verification, I also wanted to add that this pill is reportedly manufactured by Alvogen Inc. and carries a National Drug Code of 47781-0536. The only medicine that works for me is Fiorinal #3 ( pronounced : fear - in - nal # 3 - # 3 means with codeine ) as long as your not allergic to codeine. It's an old time remedy, but I've tried all the new stuff and nothing else works, This does.
