I have been using Telma...& the my doctor has changed it to Olmat H...appreciate if you can give the comparison between the two,does the change is necessary as I was comfortable with Telma. ## Hello, Sanjeev! My doc . Prescribed Telma am after the By Pass to control BP but the BP was around 165/85. So he changed to Telma 40. The BP is still 170/ 85. Now he has again advised me to shift to Telma am. telma 20 or telma 40 - which tablet is stronger? ## The higher dosage, the 20 is a 20mg Telma tablet and the 40 is a 40mg Telma tablet. But the operative question is, which one has your doctor told you to take? Telmisartan is most commonly used to treat high blood pressure and certain cardiac conditions. I am 58 years of age. Just 10 days back I started Thelma H 40 mg for BP 160/90 as advised by my doctor. After using it for 8 days I got dizziness, frequent urination and a light strain on my right side. So I consulted my doctor and am now taking Telsartan 40. My BP is now 120/80. How long should I use 40 mgs for? Can I reduce to 20 mgs? Please advise. Dear Dr, I am 65 years, been taking Covance D and Covance 25 mg since last 6 years. My BP was in control 125/76 but from last 1 month my BP goes to 135/85 (early morning and late evening). I am a patient of Rheumatoid Arthritis (medicine Folitrax 15 Mg weekly, Saaz DS twice a day); My sugar 135 fasting, and 150 PP.
