If so, it is an antibiotic used to treat many types of infections, but 3 pills may not be enough. You should see your doctor for an appropriate course of treatment. I take 7 pills of Azithromycin 500mg per month. I have COPD and the Azithromycin stops the infection of my lungs. I have a new mail order RX - I ordered Azithromycin and they sent a pill named PLIVA 788. Is this the same med?
