I've been taking Synaleve as a painkiller at night as I've just had a knee replacement. When I didn't take any because the pain had eased, I couldn't sleep. I found Synaleve to be totally ineffective for any pain related to a pinched nerve. In fact, the only medication that seems to work (apart from cortisone) seems to Lyrica. ## Hello, Steve! How are you? Are you still taking Lyrica? The U.S. FDA lists its typical side effects as possibly including nausea, dizziness, headache, dry mouth, mood swings and weight gain. If it worked well for you, then why try something else? Or did your doctor want you to stop taking it?
