My 2 year,9 month old has just injested a scopex compound, I am extremely concerned. What are the side effects for my child. He weighs abt 18.5lbs. ## Hi nadia, It's hard to say how this medication might effect any individual, as everyone can react differently to prescription drugs. The best thing to do in my opinion is to keep a close eye on how your child reacts to the dosage given and simply remain aware and ready to take care of the following possible side effects, if any present themselves: Side effects of antimuscarinic agents include, dryness of the mouth with difficulty in swallowing and talking, thirst, reduced bronchial secretions, dilation of the pupils (mydriasis) with loss of accommodation (cyclopegia) and photophobia, flushing and dryness of the skin, transient bradyca... ...

Hi - I have SLE - LUPUS diagnosed May 1976,however in the last (6) years it has now become LUPUS IN THE GUT and I have had two major abdominal operations December 2010/May 2012.Since then I have experienced bad reaction to Buscopan Co and have been using Scopex Co which I find more compatible for me and have recommended to other patients who have also encountered problems with Buscopan Co.However, basically I have been unable to obtain Scopex Co for most of this year from any Pharmacy, they are all punting Buscopan Co and telling me that they have not manufactured Scopex Co and its been out of stock for months. Could i give my child scopex 10mg 1 tablet for cramps she is 3years old. ## Hello, Lee! How is your daughter? Please do not give her any medication without her doctor's approval. It is very, very easy to overdose a child to the point of fatal toxicity.
