WHAT IS THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN PERCOCET M357 AND PERCOCET 512 ## M357 is NOT percocet, it is a different class of narcotic pain reliever called lorcet or hydrocodone. it is a generic version and not as strong as a perc 5/12 ## That is correct, M357 contains 500mgs of Acetaminophen and 5mgs of Hydrocodone, so this is not an equivelent to Percocet, but, as stated above, a generic for Vicodin or Lortab. It is still a narcotic pain reliever, but not as strong as those containing Oxycodone. This pill marked 512 contains 325mgs of Acetaminophen and 5mgs of Oxycodone and is a generic for Percocet. Side effects are similar for both and can include: nausea, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation. I have a white oval pill that says M 582 on one side and is blank on the other side. Could this pill be Percocet? ## I have never seen one like that before, nor heard of it ever being oval. Oxycodone is white, round and either says 512 or endo (depending on the maker). There is aso Roxixet, but I can't remember what it says on it...Hope this helps. Also, it depends on the strength. The ones I have described are 5/325 strength, but the 10 milligram tabs sometimes are oval. Call your pharmacy. Or even call a different pharmacy to compare what they have ## I think it is. i have a pill which is supposed to be a percocet but it does not look like the ones i usually get. it has m357 imprinted on one side & a line on the back.
