I have been on Norco 10-325 for chronic pain and normally have no issues. My last prescription appeared to be more oblong and was manufactured by MFG TRIS and I’ve noticed that I’m nauseous quite often. Why do these make me sick but the ones by MFG ACTAVIS don’t? ## Hi Kaylee, Sorry to hear about your situation. To my understanding, the only difference should be the list of inactive ingredients (binders/fillers) that help make up the composition of the pill. In some cases, an individual may be allergic or hypersensitive to certain fillers which can be an underlying cause of side effects. Something fishy about Tris Pharma compared to other manufacturers is that they don't share their list of inactive ingredients so we have no way of knowing what fillers or how many ...

I filled my prescription at Walgreens, it was supposed to be percocet 10/325. When I took the pill I noticed that I was still in pain an hr. later. So i checked the markings on it and it was marked a333, I have gotten generics before and they appeared to work so I thought I may have been given the wrong pill so I started researching and found I was not the only one experiencing this issue with these pills. I went to the pharmacy the next day and the pharmacist said ACTAVIS is NOW the only mfg. of this pill besides WATSONS which is extremely expensive and explained to me that they are very hard to get now because of one company buying out another and so on. The pharmacist refused to take the pills back She then suggested I call my dr.I then got upset and told her my insurance paid $150.0...

On 4/12/17, I received my monthly script of Oxycodone from Walgreens, from Mfg. Actavis as Oxycodone/Acetaminophen 10-325MG TB. The medication did not dull my pain as usual, but continued to use and began to feel very ill, vomiting and having diarrhea, ending up in the hospital for four days, during which I lost all my strength and needed Physical Therapy for three months and I am still having to use a walker. There was never a diagnosis of the cause of my hospitalization, but now I know that after I had not used the medication for a period of three months and now needed pain relief again, that after ll days of use, I was experiencing the same thing that had put me in the hospital in the first place, the Actavis Oxycodone! There is a problem with Actavis and they should be investigated....

Hmmm...My experience is just the Opposite!! I been getting Oxycodone 15 mg that was manufactured by both Watson And Malencroft!! I take 1 every 4 hours and I tell you, the last few times of getting them via these two manufacturers was like taking aspirin...Absolutely little to No effect. Plus I found myself wanting to take More than prescribed because I work a very physical job (and love it). I am not one of those people that feel they just need to stay home, feel high on their pain meds, and not e gen Try to do better. Not at all saying who is and is not doing that. But just saying that I am Not one of them. Anyway, However, this was the first time I got my Oxies filled and the mfg is Actavis. And I was not even looking at the mfg. But what happened is I took one of my oxy 15's and...

does not work.what did they do? my 12/01/15 worked fairly well. my 1-12-17 is useless and side effects are worse. why can't they make them like watson did. mfg actavis is a joke. i started norco 20 years ago. now i've ended up with this no good mess. ## Henry, Sadly that's the general consensus. Have you considered checking other pharmacies since each are free to use a wide variety of generic mfg. companies? Perhaps you may find one better suited to your needs.

I am reading a lot of complaints about this drug. I was taking Watson 3202 5-325 for pain and it worked for my pain. Now Actavis makes 2172 in place of Watson 3202. I don't see any difference. ## Some people may be more sensitive to different inactive ingredients than others. Their bodies may also process/metabolize these ingredients at a different rate, affecting absorption. However, the amount of active ingredients in generic drugs is rumored to fluctuate by up to 20% more or less. I don't know if this varies from batch to batch, but I'm glad to hear that someone else is having a good experience with the 2172 pill, as it goes to show that everyone really does react differently, despite the nay sayers calling it a placebo by comparison to Watson's older products. Please...

I have been taking TEVA clonazepam .5 for years and it was very effective! Now I hear that TEVA does not make it anymore. I was prescribed it via ACCORD mfg with very poor results... headaches, nervous, and more. I hear that the are also SOLCO and AVTIVIS mfg. I need some input re which one would be better... or any others. I heard that the inactive ingredients have a lot to do with it. I also know ACCORD is made in China and have heard some horror stories about their clonozepam. ANY INPUT GREATLY APPRECIATED!! ## Hi Johnny, You're spot on about the inactive ingredients having a lot to do with the medication efficacy. In Canada the drug labels actually refer to them as "non-medicinal ingredients" instead of stating "inactive", and I think this is because they do affe...

Does hydrocodone acetaminophen 5 325 ingredients mfg actavis (watson) contain gluten? Please help! I have looked everywhwere and I can't find the answer. I am in pain and I'm afraid to take this pain medicine until I know for sure. thank you. ## Tammy, Is gluten a wheat product? Check on WebMD list of medicine, may have contents for you. ## Tammy, probably a stupid question, but did you check the medication links on this website? Usually very helpful ## Hello, Tammy! How are you? What are the markings on it? That information is the only way for me to be able to determine the correct manufacturer to find the correct ingredients list for you. Can you please post back and clarify? Thank you! This is a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause sid...

I too had my RX medication refilled (again) at Walgreens, but this time (When I did not take my RX Tylenol with it, like I always do) I noticed, that I have been given a different Brand of medication (A Generic Brand/MFG by-ACTAVIS). My "Norco-Hydrocodone/Acetaminophen 5-325/TB" did not work as prescribed or even when I took 3 pills at one time (because 1 nor 2 pills didn't work/relieve my pain). I believe I have been given FAKE NORCO/Hydrocodone pills (white/#2172 on them) from Walgreens Pharmacy. Today I contacted the DEA & FDA via email and requested that they investigate my complaint as soon as possible. ## Hi Lisa, Sorry to hear about your experience with these new 2172 hydrocodone/acetaminophen tabs. There are actually several discussion threads here on MedsChat co...

whats it look like how much more detailed do you need what the hell does the pill look like is that detailed enough what do you want me to say can you draw a picture ## Hello, Lis! How are you? Actavis Elizabeth lists this tablet as being white, capsule shaped and having the marking A333 on one side. The FDA classifies this medication as a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation. Is there anything else I can help with?

I have been getting the Hydrocodon-Apap 10-500 Watson and they were blue they have changed to white and they do not help with the pain an makes me feel tired an sick the blue ones did not so whats up with that they say they are the same but they are not and no a lot of other peps say the same thing and yes they are prescribed. The NDC code is 0591-2609. ## Hi Molly S, The color of a medication doesn't usually have anything to do with its formulation- as far as active ingredients are concerned. This one could possibly be from a different manufacturer that used a different blend of "inactive" ingredients in which you might be reacting to. Did you get the pills from your usual pharmacy? If you haven't contacted Watson (also known as Actavis) pharmaceuticals about this yet, ...

.The light blue round with 3 5* and a Crescent moon on the other side, it is phendimetrazine but does anyone know the manufacturer name? I'm looking for the same pill mfg. ## Hello, Linda! How are you? I can't find a listing for a Phendimetrazine tablet with this marking, but the crescent moon logo is one that's used by Actavis Pharmaceutics. Learn more Phendimetrazine details here. Is there anything else I can help with? ## Thank u I also was looking for it since this type of brand tablet I'm trying to get from my dr. To prescribe it to me again thank u ## Did you find out ? For years I have been taking Watson brand Percocet 10/325 6 tablets daily. A few months ago I went to fill the prescription and was given Endocet by Endo Pharm. and told it was a generic they had, so I agree to take it. Then last month when I went to get the same script filled I was given Oxycodone/Acet by Actavis and told it is the generic brand but the company bought out Watson and that is why Watson is no longer available. Again, agreed but shortly after taking them I started to notices slight shortness of breath, fast heat beat, extreme dizziness, fall asleep within 30 minutes after taking them, less energy and still having pain. I never felt this way when on Watson and if they are saying it's the same company why am I having theses symptoms? I always take 6 a day, but with thes...

I found methamphetamine in my system but I only take Oxycodone from Actavis mfgr; pill number a215. How could that be? ## Gimbo, are you taking any other over the counter product (such as cold medicine) or an herbal / diet supplement? As far as I'm aware there should not be any methamphetamines in your system just from the Oxycodone since those are 2 completely different classes of drugs. ## That has happened to me and it was definetly a lab mistake because I've never taken that. That might be your problem too cuz labs mess up ALOT way more than you'd think.

I think most people who take lorazepam are familiar with side effects like any other script, however we also know what works and what doesn't. And I for one am tired of hearing the same explanation that you build up a tolerance. I only have encountered that problem when different mfg merge or deviated from what the formula calls for. ## Agreed. Been on Lorazepam long term and have never seen more mfgr chances in the last 6-8 months, between Actavis/Teva, Leading & Aurobindo, just as my body adjusts, there’s a change. My dosage has always stayed the same. ## Hello, Margaret, and Leebs! How are you both doing? Peach colored round tablet with 311 on one side & half moon on the other. Is this morphine 60mg er? Looking for generic 60 mg morphine er. Endo has an oblong tablet with 60 on one side & E 655 on the other that works for me. Rhodes Pharmaceutical tablets are not consistent. Here's some definitive info from Actavis who bought out Watson. fioricet.com Briefly: New formulation is out because of FDA requirements (reduces Tylenol from 325 to 300). No change to Butalbital or caffeine mg's Tablets are discontinued. Only capsules are available. The formulation without Codeine is NOT a schedule III drug (Actavis received an FDA exemption) If your doc writes for tabs you may want to discuss having him alter the scrip so that it doesn't get bounced. The good news is that it looks like the Brand Name will still be available. I had GREAT luck with West Ward for over 30 years. The white tabs by Qualitest suck so I'm going to pay the extra and go for the Brand to see how well it works. Good luck everyone. ## Has anyone ever heard of the mfg, of butalbital...

Can I have some information on this drug? ## I am prescribed methylphenidate/10mg, Carisoprodol/350mg and Diazepma/10 mg. Will this keep me from getting a job since they are legitimate prescriptions? ## Methylphenidate is most commonly used to treat ADHD, shift work sleep disorder, narcolepsy. The FDA lists its typical side effects as possibly including nausea, dizziness, headache, irritability, insomnia, and anorexia. Not, they should not interfere with you getting a job, Avita, but if they test, you should make sure they are aware of what you are taking, to avoid any problems.
