I have been using this drug, lighty since 1999. I've had three surgical proceedures in the last 5 yrs. This drug was perscribed in 4 of the ops. With only a couple of pills left and suffering from severe trama of Gunshot and multiple Shrapnel wounds form the Vietnam War, my injured body(mostly feet, legs and lower back) has sometimes very painful nerve and muscle aches because of the well defined arthritis per bone scan prformed this summer of 2005. I only use this drug when the pain is very severe (on a scale of 1 to 10) the pain is 15. My V.A. Doctor Perscribed 20 tabs. (this is good enough for nearly one year for my use of this drug. I broke my Tib/Fib bones above right ankle 10 months ago, had them set, cast for 3 months, followed by 6 months of pt, and now home, but pain still presents it self when I bare weight on right leg. Your blood pressure may go a little lower than normal, but this medication does take time to reach its full effect in your body, so for any severe issues to occur, you'd usually have to take extra regularly for several weeks. I have been being treated for chronic pain off and on for years. Recently i've been on the fentanyl 75 mcg every 3 days and the morphine 15 mg at 4 x daily. I've been taking this drug 2x a day, since 6/1/2011. It was prescribed to treat an infection,of the prostate or lower organ, not sure. Based on my research, Bactrim is also used to treat Acne. I didn't see "itching" listed as a side effect, so you could be having an allergic reaction. have been taking quinine sulphate 300mg tabs, for about 4 weeks for bad cramps in legs both at night and during day. I have got slight burning affect around virgina and the need to spend penny very often, i also feel as though i am leaking yet dont seem to be.
