I take oxicodone 10mg for a bad back & they just don't seam to work that well. I was told delotta is better & less sight effects. Is this true & if so, what mg of delotta should I take to be equal to OR BETTER THAN the 10mg oxicodone I'm taking now?? ## The name if this medication is often misunderstood, it's actually called Dilaudid and the active ingredient is Hydromorphone. And it is a very potent narcotic that like any other will require a doctor's prescription. However, it is slightly stronger than the Oxycodone and you'd only require 3.75mgs of it for each 10mgs of the Oxycodone. Learn more Dilaudid details here. The part about their being less side effects is not true, though, it can cause the same side effects as Oxycodone, how many you experience... ...

what is the diffrence between delotta and moraphine. This question is because my dad has been given moraphine for pain and the reaction was delerious. When given delotta he seems okay ## The difference is the actual narcotic ingredient, Morphine is just that, but Dilaudid contains a different narcotic, which is Hydromorphone, so they are related, but not the same. It is normal for some people to react badly to one, but not another, it just really depends on your body chemistry and metabolism. Some people can use any of them without a problem and some react badly to all of them. These are narcotics, so they can cause side effects, such as: nausea, drowsiness, dizziness and dry mouth. already took 2 darvasets can i take a delotta in extreme pain just had foot surgery ## Mixing them is not recommended, since they both contain Narcotics. Darvocet is a pretty mild narcotic, containing Propoxyphen and Acetaminophen. The Dilaudid is much stronger and contains Hydromorphone. However, if you mix them, you run the risk of worsening side effects, such as: nausea, drowsiness, dizziness and constipation. You could also inadvertently cause yourself to overdose. how long is delotta in your system
1 Reply RSS
wondering how long in your system if you have diabetes, low testerone, and hippsey ## Hi Alice, I think you may be referring to Dilaudid. The name is often misunderstood because of how it's pronounced, but it contains the active ingredient Hydromorphone; which is a pretty potent narcotic. The average estimated time frame that Dilaudid can remain detectable in your urine is anywhere from 2 to 4 days. I don't know what effect diabetes may be having on your metabolic process, however low hormone levels could also be playing a role in how long it takes your body to effectively eliminate certain substances. I hope this info helps to answer your question! ...

My sister gave me a half of one of these - an oblong white pill with an imprint of IP 118 for the pain I was having before seeing a really good doctor. I went to see my Doctor today and she said my drug test came back and it had Oxycodone in it, and also Delotta? I have never taken a delotta in my life!! I did take a little xanax that looked like a footbal with the half of Vicodin, and 2 0.5 mg. Clonazapem with 3 50 mg. Tramadol. Would all of these together create a print out from a lab saying that I had Oxycodone and Delotta in my system, because I didn't take any!!!
