How/where can I get a legal placebo for my child that I can give him, letting his school aware, but not my son. He claims his bad behavior at school (only) is because he forgot to take his "good behavior" pill. I want to see if he is good with a placebo. ## I'd suggest discussing it with his doctor, or your pharmacist. I am really not that knowledgeable about the use of placebos and whether or not such a thing would be considered legal, or how to obtain one legally. I am an adult with ADD. I've done very well with Vyvanse 50 for past 5 yrs. but new insurance formulary won't pay for this. The nearest substitute I can find is dextroamp-amphet and I'm told that 20mg twice daily or 20mg + 10mg mid afternoon should be equivalent. Don't think I can get both rx'd per month. I have been taking Adderall IR (Barr) 2 - 20mg 2x a day 80mg total per day for the past 3 yrs. My Doctor changed it to Dextroamp-Amphet ER 20 Mg caps same dosage 80mg total per day. I've been taking this new med DEXTROAMP-AMPHET ER 20MG. Because of fatigue and foggy feeling due to pain meds for chronic pain plus I take meds for depression and bad anxiety. I feel the dextroamp-amphet ER 20mg working a little but it still doesn't quit take the tired foggy feeling away and it seems to not last all day. Should I ask to up the dose or ask for instant release so it works better? The pain meds I take are oxy 10 mg 3 times daily hydro codon 10 325 2 times daily and for my depression sequel ER 200 mg Zoloft 100 mg and lorazepam 1mg 3 times daily. What due u think I should due.
