can xarelto cause weight loss

I have been taking xarelto for 5 months and have lost 28 pounds without any change in diet. It's not a bad thing as I needed to lose some weight. I am assuming it is from the drug. Has this happened to anyone else? ## Hi Rob, I haven't found any record of weight loss on Xarelto's list of side effects from the US National Institute of Health. However they do list "loss of appetite" which could inherently bring about weight loss... The only discrepancy here is that you said you didn't change your diet... So if you're not eating less (from a loss of appetite) then that is definitely a mystery to me... If anything, at least it's good to hear that the weight loss has been a welcomed side effect. I just hope it all balances out when you reach that comfortable s... ...

Zoloft weight gain

I am switching from Lexapro to Zoloft and was wondering about weight gain. Has anyone had problems with weight gain while taking Zoloft? ## I found it is almost impossible to lose weight when you are on Zoloft. When I go off Zoloft, my weight falls quite easily. But when I go back on, I do experience weight gain. ## Yes, weight gain is a normal side effect of most SSRI antidepressants. There are two reasons for this, one is the effects of the drug on your body and the second is due to the fact that some people who suffer from depression and other mental illness issues, do not eat properly and when these drugs help them to feel better, they find their appetite returning and their eating habits improving. The good news is that the weight gain is not severe and you weight will not continue... ...

dinintel as a weight loss pill.

Is there a specific way of talking this pill ( with or without meal.does one have to do rigid exercise. ## According to the dosing and administration guidelines, Clobenzorex (Dinintel) may be taken with or without food. The recommended dose is 30mg twice daily. Although this drug may assist you in weight loss, the only true way to lose weight is by eating right and exercising regularly as a lifestyle. Without that, there's no guarantee you'll keep the weight of that you may have originally lost during your time on this medication. Were you also aware that Clobenzorex, as well as other anorectic agents, are listed as being withdrawn from the market? how much weight will i reduce with a 25mg dosage ?

My doctor has prescribed me to have a 25mg topamax dosage.i would want to know how weight would i lose if i have one tablet a day for about 15 days ## Hi, Priya! How are you? Unfortunately, there's really no set answer that anyone can give you. While Topamax can aid in weight loss and has recently been approved to be used for it, much of the rest really depends on the individual. For instance someone that only takes the medication, but doesn't follow a good, healthy diet plan and get plenty of exercise is not going to lose as much as another person that does those things. Other factors may also be involved, such as your metabolism, your overall health, any other medications you take and etc. What types of expectations did your doctor give you? ...

af plus enhanced weight loss and energy/losing fat

Regarding losing the weight, does it take off body fat? Some supplements claim to lose up to 70% body fat ## Hi loulou, Regarding weight loss, I believe you're going to get the best results for long term satisfaction through consistant and determined willpower to exercise daily and eat right. Supplements wont necessarily take the weight off for you (you still have to work hard towards your goal), but they can give you that kick start that many people need before changing their lifestyle from one extreme to another. My personal advice would be to give it a trial run for a couple weeks if you think it might be a good product. You can always check your body fat percentage each week to see what sort of progress you're making with and without the supplement, in order to compare resul... ...

How are you? Medications do tend to lose effectiveness over time, this one doesn't become dangerous, but it may not work as well as it did, when it was new. Have you asked you doctor about that? They may feel that it's okay for you to try it. The FDA classifies this medication as being a steroid and its typical side effects may possibly include nausea, dizziness, acne, weight gain, fluid retention, elevated blood pressure and elevated heart rate. ...
