I can't tell if these are time released or not. I was born with manic-depression as was my mother, her grandmother, my brother and my daughter. The ONLY medication that gets me out of bed and on my feet and out the front door is amphetemine salts. I do not have a thyroid gland, have chronic fatigue syndrome and have never had energy which made even drying myself off with a towel a chore because the towel was so darn heavy. I am 55 years old. are the capsules supposed to be only half way filled w/the medicine inside? ## Since they are capsules, rather than tablets, they are filled by weight, not volume, because they don't require fillers to hold their shape, so yes. Are there any questions or comments? ## hui ## I have been taking M. Amphet Salts 25 mg for over a year and Yes! They are only filled to about 1/2 way. Take the capsule and hold the white part w pointer and thumb and place it up to a light and u will see that they are barely past the white part of the capsule! Any lower and they have been tampered with!

I am an adult female who does not have ADHD or ADD. I just wanted to lose 20lbs. My Doctor prescribed IC AMPHETAMINE SALTS 20 MG TABLET 2 times a day. I have no health problems. 1st pill I took made me jittery and a little dizzy. So now I am starting out with half a tablet once a day because I do drink an energy drink that is actually healthy for you and does not make you jittery or crash like most energy drinks do. I was diagnosed with ADD and have been trying to figure out the dosage right for me, is tarrted out with taking "pill name: R 3062 5mg(and pushed that up to 20mg) so the doctor switched me to something "pill name M. Amphet salts 20mg) but that doesn't seem to work as well compared to the other pill. what are the differences in the pills that could enable me to find out what the difference is. also, I took one m. amphet and 2 R 3062 and that seemed to work the best for a short time though. I have been on 20 mg amphetamine salts 4 x a day for over 3 yrs. I think I need my dose increased to 30 mg 4 x day . I've been wanting to discuss this with my doctor for a while now but something else is always wrong and I've been forgetting everything again if I don't write it down!! The extended release capsules are not recommended for anyone age 6 or under, so I can only speculate that his body (from a biological standpoint) may not even be ready to handle this medication. My daughter started taking this medication in Feb. and became very anger and out of control, could this be cause from this medciation ## Mixed Amphetamine Salts are a stimulant medication used to treat conditions such as ADHD and Narcolepsy. And yes, there is a possibility that the medication could be causing her problem, since it is a stimulant, it can cause irritability and anger in some people. Have you contacted her doctor, yet? It may not be the right medication for her, or she may be on too high of a dosage.

who makes a amphetamine salts tablet that is white,round and about the size of a dime?unsure of mgs.-perhaps 20 mgs. ## There are several generics on the market that meet this description, so I can't tell you who the manufacturer is, without knowing the markings on the tablet in question. Is there a diiference between amphetamine salts and amphitamine ## I am not quite certain what you're asking? Amphetamine salts usually refers to mixed salts, such as the active ingredients in Adderall, which are Amphetamines and Dextroamphetamines. Amphetamine itself though is a pretty general term that is used to refer to almost any of them and its relatives.
