I am on blood thinners right now and I need to lose weight so I would like to know if I can take Lipozene with a blood thinner? ## Lipozene is just a supplement that is claimed, but not proven to actually work for anything. The FDA does warn that is has caused nausea, heartburn, and diarrhea in some people that take it. Given that you are on blood thinners, which means you have a medical condition requiring them, I would suggest you not take anything, without checking with your medical provider. It may just be a supplement, but some of them can affect your INR. What blood thinner are you taking? ## Can I take Lipozene while I take Eliquis, a blood thinner? ## Can I take lipozene while taking eliquis? ## Eliquis twice a day.

(Diet) would it be safe to take losartan and liposzen i am taking 1/2 of 24 mg of losartan. ## Hi wanda, From what I could gather, there aren't any drug interactions to be found between Losartan and Lipozene (I'm assuming you meant to say?). However this is because Lipozene (Amorphophallus konjac) is an OTC dietary supplement; a category that isn't generally accounted for when it comes to reputable information on potential interactions with pharmaceutical drugs. For that reason I'd encourage you to contact your doctor first and foremost before taking anything that he/she hasn't prescribed or recommended. In many cases these types of situations turn out to be fine and it's just a matter of getting your Dr's. approval to ensure safety. I hope this helps!

What medications contain trilipids? ## By tri lipids, do you mean Tri-glycerides? Triglycerides are lipids made with three fatty acids and a glycerol molecule. Your body makes some triglycerides. Triglycerides also come from the food you eat. When you eat, your body uses carbohydrate calories for immediate energy. Leftover calories are turned into triglycerides and stored in fat cells for later use. If you eat more calories than your body needs, your triglyceride level may be high. That said, I don't understand why any medication would contain triglycerides. Fish oil or other fatty acid supplements are the only thing that comes to mind in this situation.

I received a Lipitor 80mg pill, large white round and fairly flat, with "R" on one side and 196 on the other. Since it is different from the one I had been taking, I wanted to be sure it was the correct medicine. What do those markings mean? Is this just the same medicine from another pharmacy? ## Actually, the tablet that meets this description with the R 196 marking is listed as containing 75mgs of Clopidogrel, which is used to prevent blood clotting. Learn more Clopidogrel details here. It is not Lipitor or the generic for it, which is Atorvastatin. Learn more Lipitor details here. Did you get this as a prescription from your pharmacy? If so, you need to contact them immediately.

My Dad just got receive a supplement yesterday. it's a 180x500mg Green Lipped Mussel Capsules. Just want to asked what's the main benefits of this? Is there are restrictions for those people who will take it? Has anyone tried this before? please shared your thoughts.. Thank You! ## Since this is a supplement, rather than a medication, it is difficult to provide you with a lot of information on it, because they are not tested for safety, nor analyzed for side effects, like that which is done for prescription medications. That said, manufacturers claim that it has anti-inflammatory properties to help with conditions like arthritis and bursitis, but this is not actually proven. This also means that I can't answer your question about restrictions, or possible dangers, since this...

What is the difference? ## I got a RX filled Small round pill with 831 and small arrow like symbol ## I have Metoprolol succinate extended-release (50 mg) white tablets but was prescribed Losartan 50mg Pot a green tablet. Are these the same. I just noticed this and I am urinating every hour day and night. My generic brand of Lipitor was recalled. CVS gave me replacement of above in the old bottom. Just wanted to double check the medication prior to taking it. ## The tablet in question contains 10mgs of Atorvastatin, which is a generic for Lipitor, so if that's the correct dosage, then you do have the right pill.
