What Does Cip Stand For

I am 62+. I have never been a patient of BP as my usual BP range has been in range (!!6 - 120) & (70 to 76) and my ECG is normal. Still I have been advised to take Ciplar 20mg twice daily for the past 1 year to control the symptoms of Palpitation resulting in fast & irregular Heart Beat associated with restlessness. I have noticed now that when I get up from a posture of sitting on floor to standing, I feel giddiness or some sort of blackout and need a support else I may even fall down. Such symptoms were not prevailing earlier. Is this because of any side effect of taking Ciplar? Should I still continue taking Ciplar? Small Round pill that has a C a on it on one side and 123 on the other side ## Hi Stevie, I'm just curious about what color your pill is? I located a small round orange pill with a C on one side and 123 on the other, which turned out to be 50mgs of Topiramate. Topiramate is an anticonvulsant/antiepileptic medication that's also used for migraines and nerve pain. Apparently "Cipla USA" is the manufacturer of this particular tablet. I've been pretty anxious my whole life. Used Paxil at 15 after a bad experience with drug my anxiety was insane. I then stopped using Paxil after a month and managed to.live with my anxiety. I then had to use cipralex twice because my anxiety went crazy. But always stopped after 3 months. But for 3 years I have been using temazepam 30mg everyday. I'm 40 and have had a spine operation about 6months ago. I have been given ciprolex 20mg which didn't help at all. My therapist prescribed Azor 0.5mg 3 times a day and african 1mg in severe panic. I've taken the razor about 2 hours ago and have had 2 major panic attacks since. I feel like I'm going insane and losing my mind. How do I cope with ? ## Just breathe. Don't try to fight it.
