I have been changed from 140mgs oxycodone to 40 x 2 mgs Oxycontin. I had so much more pain control with the Oxycodone but doc wants me on a ER medication and one for breakthrough. I feel a huge difference with the Ocycontin, not in a good way. Would like to go back to what I was taking as the relief was superior. The Oxycontin I barely feel any relief. How can that be? I am somewhat confused. Can someone tell me the difference between MALLINCRKO 5/325 and ROXICET 5/325. I was getting ROXICET, and today I got MALLINCKRO. So I am trying a mailorder service through my pain management doctor. The insurance is $400 annual fee and .88 cents per/ for my oxycodone prescription. The insurance agent at my Docs office said that I will get my card in the mail in a week, then I print out the order form overnite it with my prescription and they overnite it back taking a total from beginning to end 10-14 days. I am optimistic since i have had my script for almost 90 days and still haven't filled. I ran 1 1/2 day short on my oxy IR and have left over hydro from dental surgery. Is how much hydro can i take until its time for my refill ## I alternate oxycodone and loracet to manage my pain and it seems to keep my tolerance down for each drug. And as far as the dose of loracet take as prescribed because to much Tylenol is very bad on your liver. I would look at it like this use your loracet as a get me by until u can fill ur oxycodone. Looks like a 30mg M roxy, but isn't. It's darker and smaller. It has a M on one side with the square around it like a roxy. It also has a 30 on the other side with a line under it, but the line is not in the middle like a normal roxy. I had a dirt bike accident and broke my pelvis. It is a permanent break. Can not be fixed. Had surgery to bore 2 inches of bone out of my bladder. I take 15 mg . oxycodone 2 twice a day. If you are asking about Oxycontin, there are no generics for it, all of those will have the marking OP 40. There have also been several generics of the time released formulation that have been discontinued in an attenpt to prevent abuse and diversion by limiting the manufacturing. I have been on 50 mg of methadone tid for a 3 months after 2 years years on 40mgs tid. I am also on 2-3 30 mg oxycodone for breakthrough and 100mg ms contin bid. I have reached this stage due to tolerance after 8 years of use for 9+ pain due L3, L4, and 3 cervical herniations, and spinal stenosis. I am also on 1mg of clorazepam tid. I believe the tablet you are looking at has the marking M 595 and this is an old, discontinued 40mg time released Oxycodone tablet, a generic for Oxycontin. Due to the risks of abuse and diversion, the generics are no longer being manufactured. It is not a Percocet equivalent, because it is time released and doesn't contain Acetaminophen.
