I have what i was told was suboxone, the white ones with 155 on it which i have never taken before, but i looked it up and they do exist. But i see no marks or numbers at all. And they taste like lemon. Did i get screwed? ## No you didnt get screwed. That is a generic white sub....it taste lemony. ## Really cause i took 4 of the quarters which i don't usually take that much And did nothing to me. Im wondering if they were the 2 mg ones instead of the 8mg like i was told then ## What does the generic 155 suboxone taste like? Anybody tried them before? ## @Sara, Annie (post #1) already mentioned that the taste of these is lemony. However, from what I've been reading in some of the other discussion threads on here, there are people who find that the generic suboxone (w/ 155 on one ...

I cnt figure out what mg these are so i was gonna see if some of u guys could help me. ## Hi danielle, To my knowledge there aren't any suboxone tablets that resemble what an ice cube would look like. Most suboxone tablets shown on the internet are depicted as either being round or six-sided, but nothing really "square" about them… Could you please try to be a little more specific about its shape, whether it has markings, and where you might've gotten it from? I'm also curious to know why it is believed to be suboxone when there are no imprints listed to verify this? ## My friend gets them. He says they are 9mg/2mg....I have yet to see them but he's supposed to show me. I'm on 8/2 tabs

Hello all, I received a prescription to generic suboxone 93/5721 but I took my normal dosage 4 mg twice a day and it seemed very different like it was not suboxone. I felt very ill and sweat way more than I should have. what I am trying to say is that I think they are not suboxone. After taking a a half of one and going through the bad side effects I inspected the medication and it looks like the 93 does not match up with the 5721 and by that I mean on one side the 93 is from left to right if read, and on the other side the 5721 is off to an angle and completely vertical compared to the 93 side when I flip it over. If it is not suboxone I will have to take the steps necessary to let my doctor and the pharmacy know, so here I am. If you could help me figure this out I would greatly appre...

My question is what kind of time frame and what would be the procedure/directions in regards to weening off 25 mg. I've been taking 25mg perc. for about 2 years. There have been times when I'm out and of course go thru the normal WD's. I'm strongly thinking about getting professional help but I'd like to know what to expect when I go in there. I know a clinic that perscribes 8mg sub strips. Any information would be appreciated. TY

I've been getting sick( ie starting to experience various symptoms) most days every day for some time. I have a doctor that has me on a diet pill, fluid pill, birth control, liothyronin, and Suboxone about 2 yrs ago. I dose once a day. Before I go forward, I eliminated one potential problem now. Through diet and exercise I have lost quite a few inches and probably lbs. I haven't weighed myself but others tell me I look like I've lost weights and I now fit in smaller sizes. I'm 23 year old female, 5 4" generally get lots of sleep (only with ambien and melatonin though) These symptoms have begun effecting my life and I have had to drop many classes costing 10's of thousands of dollars and lots of self esteem and basically the esteem of those around me. Hey I have a question and some info. I am getting ready to come off of 300 mgs of morphine. Started with vics, soon moved to 80mg of oxys, then to 100mg morphine tabs 3 times a day. I got into a suboxone clinic very expensive. I only pay 120.00 dollars for my morphine and now I have to go and pay 935.00 dollars for the first month without medication? I AM SCARED AND VERY NERVOUS TO START THIS...Any advice? And does anyone get there meds online? Figured if you can get narcotics why not the stuff to cure it? I have looked but I think it might be 2 new. Yes I will have a script for it in 8 days....HELP? ## Suboxone will not be easy to find from an online pharmacy, it is very closely regulated and legally can only be used under the supervision of a doctor who is specially trained in its use...

I take suboxone. I'm really trying to be 100% clean. I ran out of suboxone early and took 3 10mg methadone pills. I have never taken them before. I don't know if I should let them dissolve or how the mgs compare to a suboxone. I'm not looking to feel high. Just trying to end this disaster I got myself into. If anyone knows about these could you please offer advice? ## Stay with suboxon man. Don't mess with methadone I tell you it is bad. You will be on methadone for life if you keep on ## Yes, many people who take Methadone never become fully drug free, they usually end up on a lifetime maintenance dose, which is why many people prefer Suboxone, or Subutex, now. Why did you run out early? These medications are opioids that carry the risk of being habit forming, and may c...

on suboxone one year iam losing to much weight i look like a junkie and depressed. ## I have the opposite problem. I have put on too much weight. Initially, I needed to gain about 20 lbs but I gained 40 and lost the first 20, now cannot get rid of the remaining 20 for anything. Any advice on that? The only thing I can tell you about gaining weight, eat ice cream before you go to bed. It helped me go from drugged out looking to normal in no time. ## Steve, have you consulted your doctor? As evidenced from Laurel's post, if you are using it as prescribed and not abusing it, it usually has quite the opposite effect and most people gain weight. Your losing is unusual and you should consult your doctor to get to the root of the problem. ## i m down to 8 mgs aday now i think my appetite i...

How long does it take to ween off Suboxone? I've been taking 8 mgs for about 9 months. ## Hi willy, Usually for drugs like this the safest way to stop taking them is to tapper off them, "if possible". Some medications can be taken in fractions (actually cut into pieces) and these smaller pieces can be taken in place of the regular dose for a period of several weeks until the body is no longer dependent upon them. In my honest opinion though, I think if you took a look at this other thread on Suboxone Abuse, and read post number 42 by James, it would be of great help: You may also want to consider posting in that thread to gain more help and support from these other users with personal experience. I hope this helps! ## Is there a way to be evaluated for Suboxone?

I have been on 16 mg of suboxone for almost a month. Last night I took 3 norco 10 mgs at the same time. It has been 15 hours can I take my suboxone? ## From what I've seen on other threads, it seems like most people recommend waiting until the norco is completely out of your system before taking suboxone (which may be an estimated 24-48 hours based on how much you took). So yeah, I get the sense that you're on the right track, but if it were me I'd probably try to wait it out for another day or so (may be easier said than done). There's also something called a Clinical Opiate Withdrawal Scale (COWS) which you can look up online that asks you a series of questions to help you better determine when you might be in withdrawals and therefore ready to use suboxone. I hope thi...

I was labeled with panic disorder about three years ago. I've had Klonopin prescribed while I was on suboxone and alto it helped a little tiny bit, it was not nearly enough. I was taking two mg three times daily. Along with 20 mg suboxone daily. That's two and a half pills. I panic for no good reason. My chest is always hurting and heavy and I can't ever catch my breath. I have to try and yawn to catch my breath bit the yawn had to be a true yawn our it jUst makes it wiser. I'm panicking daily all day and night. I want to rip my hair out. This is not fair. Help me please ## I'm not sure what being labeled with a Panic disorder means but the amount you seek is a very high dose, you will quickly become addicted and then face major problems when withdrawing. If you don...

Does anyone know if low doses of suboxone gives small pupils? Keep getting told my pupils are small but I only take .25 mg at a time. Any help would be appreciated. Anything help with this? Possibly caffeine intake? ## Suboxone does contain the opiate Buprenorphine, coupled with Naloxone, and opiates are well known to cause such a pupil response, as a side effect, along with nausea, dizziness, and headache. This article explains why it causes such a side effect. It is one sign that police look for, when they suspect someone is drug user. Is there anything else I can help with? ## Is there a specific amount that will cause small pupils? Is there a certain timeframe that you know of the small pupils lasts once the dose is administered? ## Anything that's a central nervous system depre...

i got my 8mg suboxone strips and they are about 3/4 of the size as usual. it looked almost like someone cut them in half. did i get the wrong meds??? ## Where did you get them, from a pharmacy or treatment clinic? Learn more Suboxone details here. For the past 4 days except for today I have been taking 8mg of suboxone, today I took 3-7.5 mg of Vicodin to no effect I'm guessing because of my blocked receptors, I'm looking to just continue my suboxone use, do I have to wait even though the suboxone already blocked everything, or will I go into precipitated withdrawals because there are opiates in my system? Thx ## @Curious, If you haven't received any kind of effect from taking a single vicodin, my opinion is that you should be fine to continue using suboxone as you were. However because I am not a doctor I would still encourage you to seek professional medication advice regarding this just to be on the safe side. There are also those here who have a lot of personal experience switching between the two and can offer a m...

I ,due to a severe injury, was on methadone for 8 yrs and got off that crap and on suboxone at the advice of a friend. I now am at 2 mgs of suboxone daily. My pain issues are mild to none and I want off subs .I went to my doctor who claims he has Much experience with this and has proven that to me...but his method is scaring me and from what I read online I am very hesitant. He prescribed me 2mg dilaudid and valium which I hate and plans to wean me off the subs. Is this right??? I can handle a mild w/d but not a heavy one due to my work. I am not looking for people tellin me to suck it up or give advice other than if the detox method described is reasonable or crazy?? Everytime I try to go below 2mg of subs I feel like hell will a dilaudid taper make it easier or start a new addiction an...

I have only been on suboxone for 4 days (8mg 1 time a day). It's my first time taking sub's. It's been 12 hours. I went to the hospital and they said I have kidney stones. I'm in a lot of pain. They gave me 10 mg norcos. I'm not looking to feel high just want pain relief. Please advise. ## Hello, Hope! How are you? Oh, I understand, I had a kidney stone a few years ago, and it was horrible. It usually takes about 3 days (72 hours), before other opiates will be effective for you, again, after taking Suboxone for a few days. The FDA warns that this medication carries the risk of being habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, headache, dry mouth, and constipation. What do you do when your tolerance builds up to Suboxone? I am on 16 mg a day and it is not keeping me from wanting to use. Should i ask my doctor to up my dosage, or should I ask about a different drug? Need any answer, this subject is no where on the internet. ## Suboxone is not actually meant to do away with the cravings that result from an addictive personality and drug abuse. It is meant to help prevent withdrawals by helping you taper off your addiction to other medications, it will not help with the associated mental issues of craving them. There may be something else you can use to help with that, I am not sure, you really need to discuss it with your doctor. The only other one that is usually used for addiction is Methadone, have you considered looking into it? ## i have been o...
