I would like to know its therapeutic use, dosage for a 57 yr. old adult, when to take it, side effects, etc. ## I am on various tablets for hight blood pressure and react terrible to new tablets very often. Now I have been given Amiodipine tablets and the reviews I have read are bad enough so have not started them yet as too scared. Does this medication cause coughing? ## My pharmacist told me it might caue an "ineffective" cough. I took this to mean that it might make me cough when there was nothing to cough up. I have not had that problem.
