My Farther has been diagnosed with congestive heart failure with terrible blue thick swollen legs, water sometimes leaks through the skin. The cardiologist gave him Sandoz Theophylline 200mg, Plenish K, Cortaject, Angised, I found out what the rest is for {Pulmison, Purgoxin. Spiractin} but couldn't find anything on the 1st 4 pills. Could you please let me know what it's for. ## Hello, Esta! How is your father doing? Plenish K is a potassium supplement used to prevent the potassium loss that may happen, when someone is on medications to remove excess fluid from the body. It can be dangerous, if someone's potassium drops too low, so the doctor likely prescribed this as a precautionary measure. The FDA does warn that potassium supplements can be very rough on the stomach, so h...

my mother is eighty four and her ankles swell she is on lasix and plenish k but she gets up about every half an hour at night to go to toilet but sometimes nothing comes out and she says that when she gets back to bed that her bladder is full. she has got an endicrone seal or something. Can she take urispas with the lasix and plenish k and how much fluid should she drink a day? ## Hello, Barbara! How is your mother doing? Rather than adding another medication on your own, your mother needs to discuss this with her doctor. Retaining fluid like that can be very dangerous and could lead to congestive heart failure, which may put her life at risk. At her age, this just isn't something worth trying to treat yourself. What dose does she take of the Lasix?

Can someone enlighten me, please? I take the following medicines: Eltroxin, Cardicor, Zartan, Amloc, Puresis, Allopurinol, Plenish K, Ultimag, Estro-pause, Adco-Dol (for migraines. Allergic to everything else, also those supposed to be preventative.) My concern is the Allopurinol. I have read somewhere that it may cause sudden death. Because of the Puresis I have no alternative, as nothing I do dietwise, do anything to bring down the uric acid count. Please advise me, as I am with my back to the wall. Any information will be greatly appreciated. Also information concerning the negatives of proton pump inhibitors. Thank you ever so much. ## I’m 74 years old and had gout cause by excess Utica acid for 10 years until I read on the internet the “CHERRY REPORT “. I now take...

My usual medication is Verahexzal SR240mg, Migroben 160mg. These have been added to reduce my blood pressure * Puresis 20mg, * Plenish K, * Esperide and this last week Biliocor 5mg. These last few days I have been feeling lack of energy and a bit breathless - I would appreciate your professional comments? ## Yes, these medications can cause these issues as side effects, according to NIH reports. I had a similar issue, when I was taking Bisoprolol, the active ingredient in Biliocor. You may also experience nausea, dizziness, headache, and increased urination. However, it is always a good idea to check your blood pressure, since it may indicate low blood pressure, or other possible cardiac issues. How are you doing, now? Has there been any change?
