What Anibiotic Do I Take For Tooth Infection

Tooth pain intense.

I have an infection and need a root canal. Went to the dentist on Thursday am. Got prescibed amoxcicillan and hydrocodon. Took them both, mo relief until late Friday. Was fine all day Saturday and earlier today however, the pain is back and highly intense again. I have taken my meds the way I'm supposed to. I have taken a hydrcodone anx 2 ibuprofen and my anibiotic 2 hrs ago and it is not working. I don't know how to stop this horrible pain.
