I just got the ip 112 tablets from my pharmacy they switched from watsons. This new kind makes me go through withdrawal symptoms like i'm taking nothing but Tylenol! They are so much weaker than the watson brand. There is not anything I can do about it but hope after several days my body adjust to this weaker brand. I never take more than three a day. Why is this kind so different than the Watson brand? I feel awful right now and it is not fair because I did nothing wrong! ## There can be slight fluctuations in generic medications. If you were taking the Watson ones for a long time and then suddenly got these ones and they're a little lower in the Hydrocodone, it could be causing you to experience such issues. These contain 7.5mgs of Hydrocodone and 500mgs of Acetaminophen, is t...

I have been on synthroid for approx 11 years. Some of my symptoms never went away. Cold hands &feet, losing (it does grow back, but I have a million baby hairs on my head) hair, etc. I read somewhere that changing from a strictly T4 (Synthroid) to a T3T4 (Armour) thyroid medicine would help. My doctor gave me the new medicine Armour 1 GR (60mg). I was on synthroid 0.112MG). Did my doc give me too high a dose of the new amrour medicine? I want my symptoms to go away but I don't want to overdose. Help! ## I was on Synthroid 0.112mg and the Dr. put me on Armour Thyroid 3GR. which is 180mg. I would say that your dose is closer to the equivelant of Synthroid then mine. I don't know what my last TSH, T4 levels were so I hope thats why he gave me such a high dose... All I know is I...

I have been taking levothyroxine for a few years and I went to a different Drug Store to get a refill of levothyroxine and was given synthroid. I requested they give me levothyroxine and I was told that levothyroxine is no longer being produced. I can't understand why my doctor wouldn't know this or did the drug store misinform me? I can't call the doctor till Thur. but just wanted to know if anyone else hear this? ## Hello, I'm not sure but one of the comments below stated something about a recall on levothyroxine. It also states that they were unable to find a reason why. ## I went to the drug store I normally used in the past and they told me that they never hear of levothyroxine being discontinued. I had a thyroidectomy, had both my thyroid glands removed in 2006. I still struggle with side affects. Before I had them removed I was really skinny and skin was fine. But ever since I had them removed I gained weight and my skin is bad. I get labs done every 6 months, they say my results are normal but my hormones are wracked out and super low on vitamin d. How can I fix this? Is there another pill I can take? My levothyroxin dose is 112mcg. ## I am so very sorry about the problems that you're having. Which hormones are off? I need to know more, before I can help you. Being low in estrogen or progesterone could be causing it and, if that's the case, you'd likely need to take an oral contraceptive to supplement them. Need to know what this pill is white round pill 112 with line under it and blank other side ## Although i cant guarantee this without actually seeing it, It's either a 5mg Percocet or hydroxyzine HCL 10 mg which is a prescription antihistamine for allergies. ## Back in the early 1980's, when I was 29 years old, I developed debilitating headaches and a low fever that went up and down throughout each day. This went on for several weeks, and I began seeing an infectious disease specialist doctor as my GP recommended I do. (AIDS was just coming on the scene at that time.) I weigh 112lbs and I was prescribed bactrim 800-160 for a uti. Is this safe to take because of my weight? ## Hello, Stacey! How are you? You should follow your doctor's prescribing instructions. Once someone is older than 12, medications are no longer prescribed according to body weight. I had two radio-iodine treatments to kill my thyroid, which was extremely over active, approx. 6 yrs ago. I have been on Levthyroxine for about 5-1/2 yrs now and do not experience the things a lot of you are. No hair loss (I have very thick hair), no dizziness, panic attacks, etc. HOWEVER I am going through menopause now also (at 53) and can't lose weight, the insomnia is rather bad along with the night sweats. Could it be from menopause? I check my levels every 6 months with my Dr. as I recommend everyone to do. I'm going to ask him about Synthroid next time I'm in. He will not prescribe a higher dose than what I have now (112 mg) as he doesn't want the Levothyroxine to affect my joints/bones in the long run and my TSH levels he keeps on the higher side already. The wei...

I started Trintellix in December 2015. I did have nausea in the beginning but only short term. It worked pretty well for me-took it mainly for anxiety. I noticed I lost a couple pounds when I first started it but it seemed to normalize for the most part. At the first of this year I found out my insurance won't pay for it and the monthly cost is too much. I tapered off over about 10 days-was only on 5 mg. I have experienced multiple side effects, more than I bargained for-runny nose, fatigue, shortness of breath, feeling cold, bursts of irritability, decreased alcohol tolerance, and most disturbing: weight gain. I'm a small person-5,3", usually 112 pounds. But I am gaining 0.5-1 pound/week. Has anyone else experienced weight gain after stopping? The other side effects seem to...
